- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
- Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is at least five (5) years of experience with three (3) or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred and a high school diploma/GED required.

Job DescriptionThe Director of Neuroscience Commercial Strategy - Corporate Business Strategy Office (CBSO)will help drive commercial & market innovation strategy and business operations projects across the Neuroscience business, that includes Psychiatry, Migraine, Parkinson’s Disease, and BOTOX Therapeutics. Specific activities will include:
Strategic and Operational Excellence- Lead key commercial on-market strategic initiatives that lay the strategic foundation to maximize patient impact of in-line brands
- Working with brand teams to lead the development of launch strategy for launch-ready products
- Lead key strategic initiatives across Neuroscience that identifies longer-term growth (e.g., Strategy long-range planning, BD assessment, Roadmap and Brand planning)
- Executing opportunities to drive operational effectiveness within and across business units with key cross-functional partners, e.g., Finance and HR
- Lead development of business and operational reviews to senior Commercial and Executive leadership
This position will foster positive working relationships and be highly collaborative with each franchise brand teams, Finance, Medical, R&D, Market Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Market Analytics and Business Insights (MABI), Sales Training, Sales Force Effectiveness, Regulatory, Customer Experience, and other cross franchise teams to gain input into developing strategic and operational projects. The Director must demonstrate the ability to:
- Identify/scope key strategic initiatives
- Lead project execution end to end
- Influence without authority, while building a collaborative and integrated approach across the organization
- BA/BS required, MBA or advanced degree (PhD, MD) preferred
- Minimum years of experience - 10+ with Bachelors, 8+ with Masters and 6+ with PhD/Doctorate
- At least 5-7 years of professional industry experience with a successful track record in management consulting (at least 2+ years), pipeline management, or pharmaceutical marketing with strong analytical and strategic marketing skills
- Previous experience in pharma R&D, Corporate Strategy, Brand Management, and/or Marketing
- Deep understanding and experience with Neuroscience and Eye Care products both inline and in development
- Demonstrated excellent communication and presentation skills across a variety of organization levels and disciplines, including senior executives
- Strong analytical and strategic marketing skills as well as demonstrated ability to learn new disease states
- Strong ability to communicate ideas & make the complex easy for others to understand
- Good financial acumen with an understanding of P&L drivers
- Self-starter, and proactively driving projects toward successful completion
- Experience with matrix-based teams and project management
- Works collaboratively and proactively, maintains high degree of planning, coordination & project management skills, demonstrated ability to problem solve & resolve conflict with diplomacy
- Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functional partners outside of immediate team
- Exhibits strong emotional intelligence, diplomacy, maintenance of confidentiality, maturity, and organizational savvy
- Self-starter, learns fast, quickly grasps the essence of concepts, can change course rapidly where required, demonstrates intellectual curiosity
- Executes highly effective working team meetings with internal and external partners and is visibly inclusive and transparent
- Excellent command of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Experience working with pre-launch, launch, &/or on-market commercial teams, preferred

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
