Key Responsibilities- Serve as a business process owner or support and senior technical lead for key QMS elements (e.g., QSSP, Management Review, CAPA, customer complaints handling, health authorities reportability, recalls, change control, specification management, etc.).
- Lead and mentor teams in complex root cause investigations and development of effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive quality improvements tied to customer complaints and product issues across the lifecycle.

- Lead the QMS integration during mergers and acquisitions.
- Support and/or lead the quality organization in the implementation of project initiatives inclusive of QSSPs.
- Serve as a quality reviewer, approver and consultant for corporate laboratories in the areas of laboratory nonconformances, CAPA, procedures, test methods, validation and any other applicable document.
- Promote continuous improvement within quality systems operations.
- Lead and/or represent the Quality Systems function in cross-site/global initiatives and system harmonization projects.
- Coach junior engineers and support staff, sharing expertise and promoting professional growth.
- Personnel performing work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- 10-15 years of Quality Systems or Quality Engineering experience in a regulated industry (medical device, biotech, or pharma).
- Demonstrated leadership in owning and improving one or more QMS processes.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards (FDA QSR, ISO 13485, EU MDR).
- Proven expertise in root cause analysis techniques and risk-based decision-making.
- Primarily office-based, 3 days minimum (Tuesday-Thursday) in the Alpharetta office, requiring prolonged periods of sitting, computer usage, and data review.
- Occasional lifting of materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Proficient in electronic QMS platforms (e.g., TrackWise, MasterControl, Veeva, ETQ).
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present to leadership.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or other certification from American Society of Quality (e.g., CQA, CQE, etc.).
- Experience leading quality improvement projects and regulatory audit activities.
- Hands‑on experience with global or multi‑site quality system harmonization efforts.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Clinical Sales Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence. The Clinical Sales Specialist is a key member of the Avanos Sales team responsible for driving the clinical aspects of the sale through education, physician and staff support during product trials, and new account implementations in health care settings. As a technical expert, this role will assist in the Capital sales process, as well as additional adoptions at existing accounts.
The ideal candidate will utilize personal skills, technical acumen, and product knowledge to assist the Field Sales Team in building and maintaining relationships with key facility staff to support sales growth for the Interventional Pain Management Division of Avanos. The Role
- The incumbent will report to the Director of Molding & Extrusion, responsible for the medical devices business. The incumbent will be responsible, at an entry level, for design, development, and commercialization of molding processes and equipment for existing products and other new medical devices. They will work with senior engineers, marketing’ and project leaders to create/redefine product specifications through innovative and robust processing solutions, as well as coordinate tool builds and validation at both internal and external sites. As the Interventional Pain Territory Manager, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding the sales objectives of the Interventional Pain products. This includes both Capital purchases, as well as consumable product line that includes nerve ablation needles, radiofrequency ablation (rhizotomy) products, and other products providing solutions in the of treatment for pain. This role requires working a Capital Sales funnel, as well as driving increased adoption in existing accounts. The Territory Manager will work with Health Care Professionals and business leaders in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and clinics in a geographic territory. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
The ideal candidate for the Territory Manager role will utilize analytical skills and product knowledge to build and maintain relationships with facility staff in assigned markets. Utilizing CRM tools and reporting data will enable the Territory Manager to grow their territory and deliver value to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Nature and Scope:
The Specialty Nutrition Systems, Long-Term Feeding Account Consultant is responsible for the positioning and selling of AVANOS Enteral Feeding related products and solutions within both Acute Care and Alternate Site care accounts/facilities/departments. Responsibilities entail all technical and conceptual sales aspects of the AVANOS Enteral Feeding product portfolio including, but not limited to, the validation of product cost/value proposition sustaining the existing book of business and leading to increased year on year sales as per the AVANOS Enteral Feeding sales plan and territory sales objectives.
Product Responsibility:
Enteral feeding tubes and accessories, radiologic/surgical tube placement kits, enteral feeding tube placement hardware (capital) and disposables, enteral feeding tube retention, enteral feeding intolerance, diagnostic and endoscopic accessories, and any other products as determined by commercial leadership.
Markets Responsibilities and Call Points:
Hospitals/Acute Care - Senior Administration, Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, ICU/NICU, Pediatric/General Surgery (OR), Emergency Room (ER), Speech Pathology, Dietary, Education, Biomed, Case Management, and other departments as directed by commercial leadership; Alternate Site – Durable Medical Equipment (DME) companies, Home Health’s, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Ambulatory Surgical Centers/Clinics, and Rehab facilities.
Accountabilities:
The ideal candidate for the Specialty Nutrition Systems, Long-Term Feeding Account Consultant will utilize personal skills, product knowledge, and clinical expertise to maintain and build existing and new revenue within a set sales territory. The Specialty Nutrition Systems, Long-Term Feeding Account Consultant will be responsible for a continued demonstration of sales expertise of appropriate skills and functions that include but are not limited to product presentations, clinical presentations (including bedside coaching and case support functions), product pricing, sales territory management, internal and external communication, accurate sales forecasting/reporting. These activities are to result in net sales and profit growth by achieving product and sales category objectives within an assigned sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales positioning, analysis, and in-service implementation of all AVANOS Enteral Feeding product categories leading to year-on-year sales increases as per the AVANOS DH sales plan
- The development and demonstration of business value selling skills and overall AVANOS sales acumen
- Developing and maintaining expertise across the entire range of AVANOS EF products and service platforms
- Tactical implementation of selling and business activities developed by region, National Sales Director, and VP of Sales, to meet sales objectives
- Create and nurture high gain sales relationships with multiple decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts or markets (e.g., clinician, surgeons, physicians, department decision makers and/or administrators)
- Development and enforcement of contract and price negotiations/contract management with desired outcomes of obtaining committed business at the highest margins possible
- Active collaboration with sales and marketing leadership, SOC Specialist(s), NICU Specialist(s), Clinical Education Specialist(s), internal partners/stakeholders, and customers
- Effective utilization of AVANOS EF sales and marketing resources and tools necessary to meet objectives
- Territory budget management and utilization of AVANOS EF sales support resources, per compliance policy
- Active participation with Region Manager in the strategic planning and execution processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Quality Systems Engineer – CAPA & Compliance is responsible for leading and maintaining the effectiveness of the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system and ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable global regulatory requirements and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in driving continuous improvement, ensuring robust root cause analysis, and maintaining audit readiness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
CAPA Management
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for CAPA, non-conforming product, deviations (quality non-conformance) and compliance-related activities.
- Lead the end-to-end CAPA, non-conforming product and deviations (quality non-conformance) processes, including initiation, investigation, root cause analysis, action planning, implementation, and effectiveness verification.
- Ensure CAPA activities are compliant with applicable regulations (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, EU MDR).
- Review and approve CAPA records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Coordinates CAPA Review Board, publish meeting minutes and ensures actions are completed on a timely manner.
- Monitor CAPA metrics and quality data sources trends to identify systemic issues and drive continuous improvement. Owns and/or supports the quality data trending process.
- Facilitate cross-functional CAPA review meetings and provide guidance on investigation techniques and problem-solving methodologies. Facilitates CAPA and lead-instructor / in-person QMS compliance training
- Implement and promote best practices in root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analysis).
- Analyze quality data and trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Compliance & Quality Systems
- Drive improvements in quality system processes, particularly CAPA effectiveness and timeliness.
- Maintain compliance with global regulatory requirements and internal quality management system (QMS) procedures.
- Support internal and external audits, including FDA inspections, notified body audits, and customer audits.
- Lead or support responses to audit findings, including CAPA development and implementation.

Your qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate Director of Market Access, Reimbursement, and Medical Policy is a customer-facing role responsible for developing and implementing U.S. reimbursement strategies that affect current and future products across Avanos’ Specialty Nutrition Systems and Pain Management portfolios. The position will work closely with the business units to drive and develop market access initiatives that support Avanos’s priorities
Key responsibilities include coding and payment analysis across various settings (Physician, Hospital Outpatient, and ASC); insurance coverage, prior authorization, and appeals support; and cost-effectiveness evaluations. The role collaborates on reimbursement methodologies across both government payers (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid) and commercial insurers, including analysis of procedures, services, and durable medical equipment (DME).

Purpose of the Position:
- Develops strategies to optimize the reimbursement landscape to include coding, payment, and coverage from third-party payers, CMS/other government payers, and healthcare customers for Avanos Medical’s entire product portfolio, including key brands such as MIC-KEY*, ON-Q*, ambIT*, GAME READY*, and Interventional pain (IVP) management products (TRIDENT* and COOLIEF* cooled radiofrequency technology), etc.

- Develop critical relationships with physicians and payers to adopt clinical utilization of IVP (TRIDENT* & COOLIEF*), ambIT*, ON-Q*, GAME READY and enteral feeding products.
- Builds and formulates collaborative relationships with Avanos functional departments and serves as a liaison to external stakeholders.
- Drive facility and provider network development by providing market access, reimbursement, and medical policy expertise to executive teams of health care systems, hospitals, physicians, independent, joint-venture, and ASC management companies.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of medical device reimbursement, including DME, third-party billing experience, and strategic marketing experience.
- Medical device industry experience required.
- Broad-based knowledge in medical device and DME market access, reimbursement, patient access, payer coverage policy, employee management, business management, project management, marketing, and extensive experience in general health care.
- Demonstrated clinical acumen through interface with various physicians.
