**Responsibilities**
The Senior Medical Education Manager is responsible for strategically designing, implementing, and evaluating clinician training programs to support the safe and effective adoption of the Cordis cardiovascular portfolio in the United States. This role serves as a subject matter expert in clinical education and adult learning principles and owns the development and advancement of the Medical Education function ensuring that programs meet high standards of scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, continuity with Marketing objectives and clinical relevance. This role leads and develops a team that shapes educational programs and designs Med Ed strategies that elevate disease awareness, support evidence-based practice, and strengthen partnerships with healthcare professionals. This individual is accountable for aligning team priorities, performance, and outcomes to meet Cordis business objectives.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Oversee the design and deliver medical education programs (workshops, proctoring pathways, virtual learning, symposia) that align with product and procedural needs.
+ Ensures the team develops clinical training content, including curricula, procedural guides, and competency assessments.
+ Guide and support team engagement with physician faculty and KOLs to organize peer-to-peer educational initiatives.
+ Ensure appropriate leadership oversight and support for key training events and live case demonstrations.
+ Lead identification of educational gaps, emerging trends and unmet needs using data, insights, and stakeholder feedback.
+ Represent Medical Education as a cross-functional partner (Clinical, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality) to ensure content accuracy and compliance.
+ Own and scale the Medical Education learn frameworks and training platforms along with organizational growth and operational strategy.
+ Establish best practices and serve as a strategic advisor to internal teams on training methodologies.
+ Create the universal framework for program analytics across Medical Education programs which will drive future strategic direction.
+ Lead the development of Medical Education Faculty and programs for future technologies (IVL, Carotid, Peripheral) from pre-launch to post market.
+ Develop end to end strategy supporting Medical Education digital marketing and execution internally and externally.
**Qualifications**
+ 12+ years of experience in medical education, clinical education, or field clinical roles within the medical device or procedural healthcare industry (combined education/experience considered).
+ Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in education, instructional design, or MBA preferred.
+ Combination of education and experience will be considered.

**Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 5-8 years of demonstrated leadership in leading strategy and managing a team (Marketing, Medical Education, Medical Affairs, or related function)
+ Experience in interventional Cardiology and Peripheral technologies and disease state
+ Proven experience designing and delivering training for physicians and cath lab staff.
+ Familiarity with CME/CE requirements and compliance standards in healthcare education.
+ Willingness to travel up to 40-50% domestically for educational programs and case support.

**Responsibilities**
The Manager, Strategic Initiatives is part of the Cordis Spark Program, a rotational leadership development initiative designed to accelerate future leaders through exposure to enterprise-level projects. In this role, the Mangager owns defined strategic workstreams and select projects, translating ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, recommendations, and execution plans. This role is designed for professionals who can operate with limited oversight, coordinate cross-functional contributors, and convert analysis into practical business action.
The Spark Program is Cordis' rotational leadership development program designed to build future enterprise, functional, and regional leaders through high-impact assignments, executive exposure, structured rotations, and deliberate post-program placement into business-critical roles. Spark participants rotate through 2-3 assignments over an expected 2-3 year period. Each rotation is intended to be a chartered assignment with defined business priorities, role expectations, leadership sponsorship, and measurable business outcomes. Each assignment includes a rotation sponsor responsible for day-to-day business direction, with program-level support from Spark leadership to provide development continuity, mentorship, and connectivity across the broader program.
Spark teammates are expected to deliver meaningful business impact while building the leadership capabilities, functional breadth, and enterprise perspective required for future roles at Cordis. Spark assignments are expected to move from problem definition and recommendation development through execution planning, stakeholder alignment, and value realization. At the completion of the program, Spark participants are expected to transition into permanent functional, regional, or enterprise roles aligned to business need and individual trajectory.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Own defined strategic workstreams or smaller-scale initiatives aligned to Cordis business priorities.
+ Structure ambiguous business problems, develop workplans, and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support decision-making.
+ Build and pressure-test financial models, market assessments, business cases, and operating analyses with limited oversight.
+ Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, dashboards, and recommendations for review with senior stakeholders.
+ Manage workstream governance, including milestone tracking, risk / issue logs, decision follow-ups, and stakeholder updates.
+ Coordinate cross-functional inputs and drive alignment across assigned stakeholders.
+ Support implementation planning and change management for approved recommendations, including process design, communications, and adoption tracking.

**Responsibilities**
The Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives is part of the Cordis Spark Program, a rotational leadership development initiative designed to accelerate future leaders through exposure to enterprise-level projects. In this role, the Senior Manager leads complex strategic initiatives and major cross-functional workstreams tied to Cordis business priorities. This role is designed for experienced professionals who can translate ambiguous priorities into structured plans, influence senior stakeholders, drive execution, and coach junior teammates or contributors.
The Spark Program is Cordis' rotational leadership development program designed to build future enterprise, functional, and regional leaders through high-impact assignments, executive exposure, structured rotations, and deliberate post-program placement into business-critical roles. **Responsibilities**
TheSpecialist II Quality Assurance- QA Analytical Lab reports to the Quality Analytical Laboratory Manager. Under general supervision and, at times, independently, this role performs complex assignments requiring sound judgment, initiative, problem solving, and technical recommendations. The position conducts laboratory testing and investigations using established methodology, supports development of new or improved methods, and applies specialized mechanical, electrical, air-conditioning, and refrigeration knowledge to maintain laboratory equipment in proper working condition. The role also supports product and raw material testing, regulatory submissions, equipment maintenance, oversight of all laboratory calibrated items, documentation, and cross-functional quality initiatives.
Includes the following at a minimum. Other duties may be assigned depending on the business needs:
+ Demonstrate expertise in assigned analytical and product testing activities and provide technical input regarding the impact of test results on products, raw materials, components, prototypes, or finished devices.
+ In-dept knowledge of **Instron Material Testing** Machines, demonstrate technical understanding of mechanical and physical testing

+ Manage **Environmental Chambers** shelf-life studies, accelerated aging, simulated sterilization and other custom temperature or humidity studies; understanding the science of accelerated aging, the chamber equipment, state in which the product/material should be tested and demonstrates a quality discipline to manage the evidence to support the project.
+ Demonstrate technical understanding of environmental chambers to manage risk, recognize abnormal behavior, document issues correctly, and involve the right specialists when needed.
+ Manage laboratory equipment calibration items, preventive maintenance, maintenance schedules, and equipment records based on manufacturer recommendations and company requirements.
+ Develop, execute, review, and support equipment, software, and test method validations for laboratory equipment and processes.

**Responsibilities**
Cordis is currently seeking a **Sr Medical Science Liaison, West Region** . This is a remote position that ideally would be based in California, US.
As a Sr Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in coronary and peripheral interventions, you will serve as a medically or scientifically credentialed expert in vascular disease and interventional therapies. In this field-based role, you will engage in peer-to-peer, bi-directional scientific exchange with healthcare professionals (HCPs), including interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and related specialists. You will provide key clinical and scientific insights to internal stakeholders-such as Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams, helping shape strategy and decision-making. Your contributions will also include sharing updates on emerging research, evolving treatment practices, and innovative technologies, supporting the growth of existing products and the successful launch of new therapies, such as our sirolimus drug-coated balloon. Additionally, you will identify trends in clinical practice and KOL perspectives across geographies, helping the organization stay closely aligned with real-world practice and unmet medical needs.
+ Act as the primary clinical/scientific resource to HCPs in the territory for information on disease state and Cordis product(s) to ensure awareness and understanding.
+ Lead assigned professional congresses in accordance with MSL plan by leading congress coverage efforts, including coordination of all MSL activities, as required.
+ Presents clinical data to healthcare professionals (scientific peer to peer) including physicians, academic institutions, researchers, and other health care professionals and/or administrative decision makers
+ Establish, foster, cultivate and maintain peer relationships with KOLs in the therapeutic areas in which Cordis has current and future interests.
+ Serve as primary contact to external investigators who submit IISs to provide recommendations for site selection and scientific expertise to Investigators involved in company-sponsored post-marketing studies.
+ Build advocacy leading to a strong franchise and serve as a conduit for accurate and updated clinical, scientific and medical information between KOLs, other investigators and the company's Medical Affairs, Marketing and R&D groups.
+ Propose strategic solutions to competitive and clinical practice issues that may be uncovered as part of a field insights observation and analysis.
+ Provide field perspective and insight into developing new resources and strategies through industry and scientific acumen.
+ Assist or lead in development of scientific materials in collaboration with key stakeholders to support the dissemination of key messages
+ Present at internal meetings any relevant clinical trial data and facilitate the understanding of trial outcomes
+ Support commercial team with case support and /or enable delivery of scientific data to help with launch and product adoption
+ Support peer-to-peer education programs through speaker identification and support as requested and in close collaboration with the medical education team
+ Effectively lead and or support the process to handle unsolicited information request about off-label products or indications
+ Collaborate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all scientific/marketing materials adhere to relevant regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, CA, PMDA,Sunshine Act)
+ Responsible for identifying clinical insights and knowledge gaps and be able to articulate the impact and magnitude of the findings.
+ Develops and maintains strong scientific knowledge of the current competitive landscape and competitive messaging.
+ Be a strategic partner to the overarching data dissemination/Scientific communication teams and serve as a key resource in enabling successful execution of those strategies.
+ Continually monitor product performance through field presence and facilitate proactive mitigation measures.
+ Engage with any data mining activities to enable product adoption strategies.
**Qualifications**
+ Advanced Clinical/Science degree or professional credentials strongly recommended (NP, MD, PhD, PharmD, and/or scientific background/experience)
+ 2+ years of MSL or relevant medical affairs experience, preferably in interventional cardiology, vascular medicine, or drug-device combination products.
**ADDITIONAL SKILLS:**
1. Clinical and working knowledge of peripheral arterial and Coronary Arterial disease required
2. Strong knowledge of drug-eluting technologies, vascular biology, and clinical trial methodology.
3. Experience supporting product launches and working in fast-paced, evolving therapeutic areas.
4. Prior experience with DCB or DES (drug-eluting stents) in cardiology or peripheral interventions
5. Awareness of **clinical guidelines** (e.g., ACC/AHA, ESC, TASC) relevant to DCB use
6. Proficiency in analyzing and discussing statistical concepts such as Kaplan-Meier survival curves, Hazard ratios and confidence intervals
7. Proficiency with tools like **PubMed, Embase, Medline** (for literature reviews); **Reference management tools** (e.g., EndNote, Mendeley); **CRM platforms** (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce Health Cloud); **MS Office Suite** (PowerPoint, Excel for data analysis and presentations)
8. Ability to summarize **adverse event data** , safety profiles, and post-market surveillance insights.
9. Ability to interpret complicated clinical and pre-clinical data.
10. Ability to think creatively and conceptually and Ability to develop and execute key strategies
11. Strong analytical skills and presentation skills
12. Strong problem resolution skills
13. Proven ability to develop relationships with physicians and other Healthcare Professionals
14. Experience publishing and giving scientific presentations to a medical or scientific audience strongly preferred.
15. Utilization of effective communication to adjust for communication styles.
16. Demonstrates ability to develop trust and integrity with peers, and others within the US and Worldwide Medical Affairs and Commercial organizations.
17. Travel: Ability to support 70% travel schedule (domestic and international)
