Role Description

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for leading product development and commercialization initiatives, with a strong focus on executing pilot deployments at customer sites to secure references and accelerate market adoption. This position reports to the Senior Director, Additive Manufacturing and is part of the Energy+ Business Unit in Pall Corporation. Pall Energy+ is a global leader supplying filtration, purification, and separation solutions to leading corporations worldwide in a variety of industry verticals such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Polymers, and Industrial Manufacturing. This role will be fully remote, with a preference for candidates who can work on-site in Deland, FL or Cortland, NY.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead end-to-end execution of pilot and commercial deployments including planning, resource allocation, and risk management to deliver projects on-time and within budget.
• Manage all phases of pilot and commercial deployments: sales support, contract review, technical documentation (P&IDs, GAs, electrical/software), vendor coordination, FAT/SAT testing, and customer acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with government-funded project requirements including milestone tracking and reporting.
• Communicate project status, risks, and escalation points to leadership and stakeholders.
• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve project execution processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Prefer 5+ years of project/program management experience, including preference for 5+ years leading cross-functional, global teams in a stage-gate environment.
• Proven success managing large-scale projects (e.G., $2M+, 2 years+).

The Senior Engineer, Electrical is responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems and components. This role requires in-depth technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The engineer will serve as a technical resource for the team, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and help drive innovation and continuous improvement in a regulated product development environment.

This position reports to the Electrical and Software Engineering Manager and is part of the Engineering team located in Cincinnati, Ohio and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead the design, test, and debugging of complex electrical hardware and embedded systems and create schematics, oversee PCB layout, and perform design reviews
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and document results, design updates, and technical decisions
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development lifecycle
• Apply and improve design control, risk management, and documentation practices in compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a regulated industry such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive
• Expertise in circuit design and simulation using tools such as SPICE, Altium Designer, or equivalent software
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and standard communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, and SPI
• Experience performing product development activities in a regulated or documented design environment

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 10%, including occasional domestic and international travel
• Ability to work in office, laboratory, clean room, and manufacturing environments
• Ability to sit, stand, and occasionally lift equipment while working with laboratory and test equipment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with embedded software (C and/or C++)
• Medical device, diagnostics, or other regulated product development environments
• Supporting verification, validation, or regulatory submission documentation

The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

• Enterprise TPM Strategy & Governance: Provide enterprise leadership for the TPM strategy, ensuring alignment with manufacturing performance, quality systems, regulatory expectations, and long-term business objectives, including asset lifecycle and modernization planning.

• Maintenance Operating Model & Programs: Establish and govern standardized preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance frameworks for GMP equipment, clean utilities, and critical infrastructure across sites.

• Reliability & Operational Performance: Lead enterprise reliability and operational excellence initiatives, leveraging RCM, RCA, and FMEA to improve asset availability, reduce unplanned downtime, and drive sustained performance improvement.

• TPM Pillars & Culture of Continuous Improvement: Sponsor and embed TPM pillars—including Autonomous Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Early Equipment Management—driving accountability, operator ownership, and continuous improvement culture.

• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Oversight: Maintain executive accountability for maintenance compliance with cGMP, GxP, EHS, and global regulatory standards, overseeing audit readiness, inspection support, and critical asset risk management.

• Digital Enablement & Systems Optimization: Direct the enterprise CMMS/EAM and digital maintenance strategy, ensuring data integrity, asset visibility, and adoption of advanced technologies to improve reliability, cost, and decision-making.

• People, Stakeholder & External Partnership Leadership: Lead and develop maintenance leadership teams while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and key vendors/OEMs to align priorities, optimize shutdown execution, and support enterprise objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial) or related field.

• 10+ years of maintenance, engineering, or operations experience in a GMP life sciences environment (biotech, pharma, medical devices).

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing multi-site or large-scale maintenance programs.

• Strong knowledge of TPM methodologies, reliability engineering, and CMMS/EAM systems.

• Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime in regulated manufacturing.

• Ability to travel ~30-40% if located in the Chaska, MN area, and ~50-70% if remote.

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business.

• Certifications such as CMRP, CRE, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma.

• Experience with biologics, sterile manufacturing, or high-complexity production environments.

• Familiarity with digital maintenance technologies and Industry 4.0 applications.
