The Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our Fort Lauderdale warehouse, including order fulfillment, inventory control, shipping and receiving, trailer loading, and logistics coordination. This position supervises warehouse personnel and ensures customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Monitor workflow to ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
- Ensure trailers are loaded safely and efficiently to maximize space utilization and minimize shipping costs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
- Ensure compliance with all shipping documentation and transportation requirements
- Coordinate FGCI transfers and customer deliveries
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Ensure all fleet vehicles receive required inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs while maintaining accurate maintenance and service records
Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
- Experience managing shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment operations
- Strong leadership and employee management skills
- ERP and Excel experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- CDL A with hazmat endorsement a plus

FGCI, Leading Distributor of Composites materials is seeking a full-time Warehouse / Order Picker in our St, Petersburg location. This position will manage orders from warehouse staff and management, physically pull inventory from shelves to ensure accurate delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Manage pick ticket orders
- Pulls items from shelves based on number, size, color, quantity and quality requirements
- Ensure orders are accurate
- Stage items safely and correctly for delivery
- Operates handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
- Monitor stock control systems and process specific orders
- Ensure warehouse goals are met
- Maintain a high level and health and safety standards
- Shrink wrap products to pallets
- Load delivery vehicles
- Pack warehouse orders as necessary
- Operate scanners so that proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience
- Previous experience working in a warehouse picking and packing orders
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours and lift heavy objects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well on a team as well as independently
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
