Core Responsibilities Strategic Advisory & Executive Partnership
  • Serve as the senior HR leader for the hospital and trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.

Culture, Engagement & Professional Development

Labor & Employee Relations
  • Oversee all labor relations activities, including the administration of collective bargaining agreements and building collaborative union partnerships.

  • Manage complex employee relations issues, leading objective and thorough investigations.
  • Utilize strong communication and conflict resolution skills to maintain a balanced, compliant, and supportive work environment.
Operations, Compliance & Sourcing
  • Direct recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and targeted retention efforts to support ongoing hospital staffing needs.
  • Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring strict compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, healthcare regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Oversee essential HR functions including audits, reporting, documentation, leaves of absence (LOA), and accommodations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the HR team (one direct report), fostering a positive, high‑performance work environment.
Position Requirements Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preference is given to degrees in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.

  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.

Compensation Information:

Leadership Track Record: Demonstrated experience in a supervisory, team lead, or coaching capacity. Core Competencies Advanced Quantitative Skills: Ability to effectively apply mathematics, advanced algebra, and statistical analysis to financial modeling. Communication & Presentation: Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to research, compose, and present highly technical financial publications and reports to executive groups or external bodies. Document Interpretation: Expert ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents, corporate contracts, software manuals, and complex financial statements.
