**Job Description**
The Owl Media Technical Advisor provides technical support as needed for Owl Media. Duties include:
+ Providing technical support with Owl Media's web site and social media platforms
+ Providing technical training on shoots, during pre-production, and during post-production
+ Providing insight on equipment orders, story selection, and other aspects of media production
+ Additional duties unique to the position as assigned by the supervisor.
Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.
**Required Education**
High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least six college credits.
**Required Experience**
Candidates must have at least 1 semester of Owl Media staff experience.
Equivalent technical training, education, and/or experience may be considered.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**
+ Excellent writing and editing skills.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
+ Working knowledge of MAC computers, website publishing and social media.
+ Working knowledge of DSLR camera features, Adobe Photoshop, and other relevant computer software systems including Microsoft Office.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience using WordPress and Premiere Pro
+ Experience in photography and photo editing
+ Experience creating and/or publishing content for social media.

**Job Description**
The Position Coach will need to possess expertise in their respective sport and exhibit excellence in position-specific coaching. The Position Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with conducting practices and competitions; ensuring adherence to the NJCAA Code of Ethics, and performing other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. Assistance and awareness of the academic success of student athletes is a priority for all coaches.

**Required Education**

Minimum of three (3) years of Lacrosse experience with a combination of active game situation coaching at the high school, club/select, or collegiate level or professional playing/coaching experience.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**
The Position Coach must possess expertise in lacrosse and exhibit excellence in position-specific coaching and instruction in practice and contests, while serving as a positive example of a leader and role model. Other requirements include:
+ A valid driver's license and a good driving record with fewer than three points
+ CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required
+ Excellent and effective communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Preference will be given to candidates familiar with NJCAA and Maryland JUCO guidelines and policies.
