HGA is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to guide the national marketing strategy for our Engineering and E+I practice. This is a high‑impact role for someone who wants to influence brand direction, elevate market presence, and lead a talented team within one of the nation's most respected architecture and engineering firms.

This role will partner with the Market Sector Leader (MSL), Market Strategist, and National and Regional BDs to execute the national marketing strategy and plan that supports market business goals and strategies. In collaboration with corporate marketing colleagues, the Marketing Manager oversees execution of a wide range of marketing activities including branding, communications, sponsorships, client events, digital marketing campaigns, awards, project photography and more. The individual manages a sector marketing team and oversees their work on pursuits as well as a broad range of marketing, communications, and other business development opportunities.

• In collaboration with the Strategist and the corporate brand & communications team, ensures that the national sector brand message framework is articulated in sector marketing materials.
• Guides the execution of award submissions, sponsorships, memberships/associations, conferences (logistical coordination, asset development, possible on‑site support) and thought leadership pieces to enhance visibility and credibility.
• Collaborates with the brand, communications, and digital teams to promote sector projects, news, and expertise across digital channels.
• In partnership with the corporate brand & communications team and sector leadership, supports execution of sector photography and video strategies.
• Produces sector‑specific marketing content including presentations, case studies, conference handouts, etc.

• Implements sector marketing and business development strategy and plan in alignment with national sector business goals and firmwide strategic plan.
• Continues to educate themselves and their team on industry trends and client preferences.

• Manages sector‑related marketing budgets and reports on ROI for specific sector‑related tactics.
• Monitors marketing performance metrics; reports on metrics regularly.

• Provides vision and guidance to sector marketing coordinators on pursuit strategy and approach, as needed.
• In partnership with business development, provides planning and execution of client events and other relationship development activities.

• Supervises sector marketing staff; coaches and guides on best practices, creates growth and development plans, conducts performance reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in marketing or business development, with at least 3 years focused on the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) or other professional service industry.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Deltek Vantagepoint).
• Working knowledge of: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat/Reader, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Marketing generalist with exposure to and experience with a wide range of marketing activities.
• Strong understanding of the strategy, process, and messaging for pursuits, RFPs, and client interviews, and demonstrated collaboration with business development.
• Knowledge of AIA, SMPS, or other industry organizations and certifications (e.g., CPSM) is a plus.

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. • Lead the commissioning and optimization of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automation systems.

• Conduct energy modeling , building assessments, and performance audits to recommend improvements.
• Provide technical expertise in energy efficiency and sustainability to enhance building operations and reduce environmental impact.

• Serve as the lead commissioning authority and lead or perform commissioning tasks and responsibilities as outlined in ASHRAE Commissioning Guideline 0-2019.

• Knowledge of and experience with CxAlloy.
• Knowledge of current energy and Cx requirements in sustainable building rating systems (LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, etc.).
• Familiarity with early design phase building performance simulation using software tools such as Climate Consultant, Ladybug and Honeybee for Grasshopper, DIVA for Rhino, COMFEN, WUFI, Therm, Insight 360, or Sefaira.
• Experience with advanced design phase energy modeling, such as Trane Trace, Open Studio, eQuest and IESVE.

• Identify and document high performance opportunities for existing and new construction buildings through commissioning and retro-commissioning.
• Assist design teams to increase design projects’ energy performance.
• Assist design teams with strategy and compliance with energy-related documentation such as code, LEED, and region-specific programs such as Minnesota B3 and California Title 24.

• Assess the requirements of a project, break a project into tasks and work with the design team to determine scope, budget, and staffing;

• Research non-routine code issues and obtain interpretations from code officials;
• Produce sketches and system schematics for complicated design tasks;
• Prepare engineering opinion of probable cost for electrical systems and review contractor cost estimates;
• Make calculations using engineering formulas and skills for Electrical designs such as whole building electrical loads, lighting calculations, power distribution calculations, equipment sizing, editing specification sections, and creating punch lists;
• Leverage the power of Revit as a design tool; and
• Assist in the education and development of design staff and act as a resource for questions.

• BS or MS degree in electrical engineering
• 15+ years of experience in the design of power systems for healthcare, commercial and/or government project types
• Professional licensure is required
• Documented experience with a consulting engineering firm or A/E firm providing electrical design
• Expertise in National Fire Protection Association Codes (NFPA) and an understanding of applicable (city, state, federal) requirements (such as Title 24 and HCAI) and pertinent standards as well as knowledge of IECC, LEED and ASHRAE requirements is essential
• Proficiency with Revit software
• Familiarity with electrical analysis software (i.e. SKM, Easy Power, Helioscope) and knowledge of the current sustainable technologies applicable to the design of commercial electrical systems
