Position: General Camp Counselor
Location: Various Camp Locations in the United States
Program: J-1 Cultural Exchange Visa Program
- Supervise and guide campers in a variety of activities (sports, arts, outdoor adventures, etc.)
- Provide a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Assist in organizing daily schedules and camp activities
- Foster personal growth and leadership development among campers
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor for campers
- Support the camps mission and core values

About the Role:We are excited to offer you a unique opportunity to join our camp as a Digital Film Counselor . In this role, you will inspire and guide campers in developing their creativity and technical skills in digital filmmaking. Youll play a crucial part in creating unforgettable experiences by teaching campers how to produce, edit, and share their own digital projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach campers the fundamentals of digital filmmaking, including storyboarding, filming, and editing.
- Supervise and assist campers during hands-on activities with filming equipment and software.
- Organize and lead workshops on video editing tools and techniques, ensuring age-appropriate lessons.
- Support campers in creating short films or digital projects to be showcased during camp events.
- Maintain and manage filming equipment, ensuring it is used safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other counselors and camp staff to integrate digital film activities into the broader camp schedule.
- Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all campers.
- Experience in digital filmmaking, video production, or related fields.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire children and teenagers.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring youth in creative arts.
- Previous camp or teaching experience is an asset but not required.
