Job Description
INGU is a Calgary/Houston based pipeline inspection company. INGU’s Pipers ® inline inspection solution provides full visibility across all pipeline assets, improving planning, decision-making, and overall operational control. Our patented solution pairs a baseball-sized, free-floating multi-sensor device with artificial intelligence powered data analytics.
Pipers ® are designed for use in any pipeline configuration and can be deployed under operational conditions, ensuring continuance of service and the ability to act where and when needed. In a single inspection, Pipers ® can provide information on leaks and air pockets, deposits, and wall condition.
Responsibilities- Analyze Pipers ® pipeline inspection sensor data and contribute to reports for clients
- Understand, analyze, and interpret sensor data
- Understand, use, maintain, and improve existing Python analysis methods for Pipers ® sensor data
- Associate and relate Pipers ® pipeline inspection data to the real world and apply findings to pipelines
- Master’s degree in physics
- Proven track record in analyzing complex sensor data sets
- 2+ years of hands-on programming experience in Python
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, or similar tools
- Strong quantitative orientation and attention to detail
- Ability to meet both internal and customer deadlines
- Ability to support and work closely with cross-functional teams
