Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Workshop Technician based out of their Austin TX facility. They are a leading diesel engine manufacturer with global facilities and lots of room for growth.

What You Will Do:
- Responsible for the inspection, refurbishment, testing, and documentation of large natural gas engine components, including cylinder heads, valve assemblies, and related systems.
- Ensure all components meet OEM specifications, operational requirements, and strict quality standards, with full traceability and compliance.
- Support service operations by maintaining high-quality workmanship, accurate documentation, and reliable turnaround of critical engine components.
- Support the maintenance and calibration of workshop tools and machinery.
- At least 4 years US Military Active Duty experience required
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Working knowledge of machining processes and tolerance requirements.
- Experience working with large bore natural gas engines or similar heavy-duty engine systems.
- Hands-on experience in component refurbishment, machining, and mechanical assembly.
- Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
- Trade certificate, technical diploma, or relevant education in mechanical engineering, heavy equipment, or related discipline preferred.
