Lee Physician Group is seeking full-time board eligible/board certified Clinical Psychologist to join our outpatient practice in Fort Myers. The candidate for this position must have a doctorate in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-approved training program. Applicant must hold a Clinical Psychologist License. The candidate will provide behavioral medicine services in an integrated primary care model. Primary responsibility will be to assist with developing interventions and treatment plans consistent with collaborative care. There will be some opportunity to provide didactics, run support & psychoeducational groups, and teach residents within the same specialty.

The candidate will provide behavioral medicine services which include applying psychological knowledge and principles in an integrated setting to treat common physical and mental health problems experienced by mothers and families including consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment consistent with an integrated model. Maintains records and attends required hospital and residency meetings. Collaborate with colleagues on the inpatient and outpatient services. Primary responsibility will be to assist with developing services consistent with collaborative care within a patient-centered medical home. There will be some opportunity to provide didactics, run a support group, and teach residents within the same specialty.

The nurse practice is guided by the code of ethics for nurses with interpretative statements.
RequirementsEducation Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required. Associates or Bachelors preferred.
Experience Requirements:RN with two years or more of current Operating Room experience required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment. Experience requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.
Certification Requirements:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Certification requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.
License Requirements:Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
Other Requirements:Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Certification in specialty area preferred.
