Position SummaryMarshBerry is seeking a Vice President, Valuation, for our Financial Advisory Team based either in our Beachwood OH, Grand Rapids MI, Plano TX, or Dana Point CA office.
The Vice President is responsible for the execution of business valuation projects as part of MarshBerry’s Financial Advisory Team. The Vice President will provide strategy and project oversight to MarshBerry’s Valuation practice, ensuring that MarshBerry services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and consistently. In addition to the fulfilment of projects, the Vice President will collaborate with project leads to review project work and drive continual improvement and enhancement of MarshBerry valuation processes, resources, and deliverables.
Responsibilities- Serve as project lead on valuation engagements, responsible for strategy and implementation of client deliverables, quality review of project components, and ensuring project timelines are met.
- Drive successful projects by developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Research, write, structure client ready work.
- Serve as subject matter expert for valuation support to Financial Advisory team members, providing training, guidance, and technical support.
- Monitor the status of active valuation projects, tracking projects from initiation to completion and ensuring that project timelines and commitments are met to client satisfaction.
- Conduct analysis and detailed reviews of project work.
- Collaborate with project leads to identify and understand factors impacting project status and develop strategies to effectively resolve issues.
- Identify and make improvements to processes, deliverables, and quality control measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, client satisfaction and mitigation of risk; Stay abreast of industry trends and changes, incorporating best practices.
- Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with potential internal/external clients, partners and stakeholders that can directly or indirectly lead to revenue generation for all MarshBerry services.
- Salary Range Target for CA: $135,000+
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management. Master’s degree preferred.
- Additional Professional Designations or Certifications desired, such as: CPA, CVA/ASA, AM&AA
- 7+ years of experience within business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory, investment banking, financial services, or financial consulting.
- Proven experience in leading teams to achieve and exceed goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated industry business acumen; ability to grasp new business concepts.
- Proficient with technology; Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Analytical, proactive problem-solving skills: techniques to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
- Excellent project management; with analytical, organizational and problem solving abilities.
- Organized with demonstrated attention to detail; able to manage, prioritize and bring to completion multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal with demonstrated creativity with regard to work.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time; includes overnight and limited weekend travel.
- Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed.

Position Summary:
MarshBerry is currently seeking a Vice President, Business Development . The position may be located in one of MarshBerry’s office locations or remote-based. The VP is primarily focused on new business origination but may also manage and execute certain investment banking or consulting projects. Responsibilities :
- Generate new business for all of MarshBerry’s products and services nationally to achieve new business goals.
- Develop prospect and client relationships that drive value for our clients and lead to future business for MarshBerry.
- Identify issues effecting clients/prospects and develop strategies to effectively resolve these issues/concerns.
- Manage and execute client projects such as strategic planning, perpetuation planning, merger and acquisition transactions, due diligence and valuations or identify appropriate team members to fulfill projects.
- Regularly attend Sales Meetings and complete business plans as directed by MarshBerry Sales Leadership.
- Collaborate with leaders and consultants across the company to understand their lines of business and initiate new business opportunities.
- Develop deep and trusted relationships with clients and other team leaders to ensure client retention. Provide high level of service to clients and proactively provide additional consulting solutions.
- Ensure that the CRM is kept up to date with current and prospective account, client and opportunity information. Provide updates on current pipeline activity at sales meetings.
- May serve as facilitator for Strategic Issue Groups (SIGs) for MarshBerry’s Connect Peer-Exchange Network. Develops relationships with SIG members and identifies opportunities to consult and up-sell/cross-sell MarshBerry services.
- Assist with development of marketing strategies and materials that align with service delivery strategies, as well as assist with external and internal branding execution.
- Publish articles and deliver presentations on timely topics affecting the insurance and wealth management industries.
- Stay abreast of industry news, trends and changes incorporating "proven practices" in the development of services, quality standards, policies, and programs.
- Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with potential internal/external clients, partners and stakeholders that can directly or indirectly lead to revenue generation for all MarshBerry services.
- Special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Selection Criteria
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or related degrees.Master’s degree is a plus.
- Related professional designations and licenses are preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Salesforce and other software as it applies.
- 10+ years of business development leadership experience and a proven track record of success in achieving sales goals. Experience in financial services, insurance, consulting or professional services industries.
- Experience in financial consulting, merger and acquisition advisory or wealth management is desired.
- Formal sales training is preferred such as, Challenger, Sandler, Wilson, IMPAX or equivalent.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.

Selection Criteria
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, Master’s degree or CPA is a plus
- 7+ years of experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, or audit.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus but not required
Other:
- Self-motivated and has professional presence
- Proven experience in leading project teams
- Experience developing and delivering effective presentations to small and large audiences. Strong written communication skills are also required.
- Demonstrated business acumen; ability to grasp new business concepts and issues
- Proficient with technology; Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Analytical, with proactive and creative problem-solving skills: Capability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Strong written communication skills and ability to effectively run a meeting

Position SummaryFirstChoice is currently seeking a Regional Sales Director to join our growing team. The Regional Sales Director will focus on developing new business within the Mid-Atlantic region. The ideal candidate will be remote based and live in Maryland, D.C., or Northern Virginia. The Regional Sales Director will develop and maintain relationships with member agents therein, increase organic growth through new member recruitment and sales activities, and drive profitable growth through aggregation in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Senior Vice President and Regional Vice President to drive new business generation through identifying and recruiting new member agents and driving profitable growth through aggregation within the assigned territory.
- Maximize revenue in assigned region by increasing the amount of aggregated premium.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with agents.
- Utilize Salesforce to plan, log, and execute sales strategies.
- Engage partners to assist member agents with IT, marketing, and educational evaluations and opportunities.
- Lead member agent’s strategic planning process.
- Report sales data and activities weekly to the SVP.
- Complete new agent onboarding process.
- Retain and service existing agents.
- Educate members on First Choice partner and vendor discounts.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes incorporating “proven practices” in the development of processes, services, and quality standards.
- Support MarshBerry and individual branding through contributing to MarshBerry and industry and presentations.
- Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with potential internal/external clients, partners and stakeholders that can directly or indirectly lead to revenue generation for all MarshBerry services.
- Other special projects, tasks or duties as assigned by Management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field. MBA or master’s preferred.
- P&C license required. Professional Designations or Insurance Certifications like RPLU, CIC ARE, CPCU are a plus.
- 7‑10+ years of sales experience with a minimum of 5+ within the insurance industry.
- Strong relationships with agency owners within the territory.
- In depth knowledge of insurance plans and carriers.
- Proficient with technology; CRM, PowerBI, Word, Excel, Power Point. Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal with demonstrated creativity with regard to work. Experience presenting and writing content to be published is a plus.
- Ability to travel 30‑40% of the time; includes overnight and weekend travel.
- Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed.
