Overview
ModMed is hiring a driven Senior Software Engineer to be part of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing identity solutions that ensure the security and scalability of our platform. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers in the team and cross-functional teams to integrate identity services seamlessly across our products and drive innovation in the IAM space within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!
Your Role- Design & build secure, scalable IAM solutions using OAuth, SAML & industry standards.
- Implement, customize & optimize Keycloak for peak performance & security.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Champion IAM best practices, and drive adoption across the organization.
- Continuously learn & evaluate emerging trends & technologies in the IAM space.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6+ years of industry experience with a focus on identity and access management.
- Expertise in OAuth, SAML, and other authentication and authorization protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Keycloak or similar IAM platforms,
- Strong Java / Spring Boot / SQL experience.
- Experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with OWASP, NIST standards and frameworks.
- Certifications in identity and access management (e.g., CIAM, CISA, CISSP) are a plus
