This position administers anesthesia to patients during the performance of surgical, obstetrical, and other pain-producing clinical procedures under the supervision of a physician. The role works in a collaborative model with residents, fellows, attendings, and staff who care for patients.

License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice. Certification through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA). Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $91.00 - $138.00 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. • Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of New York, and complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning advanced practice registered nursing
