About NovigNovig is building America's #1 sports prediction market. Our mission is to financialize and democratize sports trading - taking a closed system run by casinos and turning it into a fair, efficient, two-sided market where the power sits with users.
With CFTC approval on the horizon, we're poised to go live across all 50 states as the leading sports-focused, federally regulated market built on trust, transparency, and real user protection.
We're backed by some of Silicon Valley's top investors — Pantera, Forerunner, Lux, NFX, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana — who have collectively invested over $100M behind this vision.
About the RoleThis is your shot to be the voice and backbone of Novig's user experience at the most electric moments in sports. You'll turn high-volume chaos into seamless support, fielding live chats and emails through Intercom, resolving time-sensitive issues when NFL and NBA slates are in full swing, and keeping the platform running smoothly when every second counts. This role is for someone who thrives under pressure, owns every interaction from first message to resolution, and knows when to act and when to escalate. You're the person who stays sharp across multiple tools simultaneously, speaks fluently to both frustrated power users and curious newcomers, and brings enough sports knowledge, from betting lines to exchange mechanics, to earn trust instantly. If prime-time game nights energize you and you want to grow inside a company redefining prediction markets, this is where you belong.
Who you are and what you will doThrive in live, high-stakes environments: When the games are on and volume spikes, you stay calm, focused, and energized by the pace.
Take ownership of every interaction: You handle user inquiries with care and urgency, resolving issues thoroughly and knowing when to escalate.
Fast and high-quality: Using Intercom, you respond to chats and emails quickly while maintaining clear, accurate, and on-brand communication.
Comfortable across channels: You will support users via chat and email.
Technically capable: You learn internal admin tools to verify accounts, investigate transactions, and troubleshoot platform issues effectively.
Curious and improvement-minded: You flag recurring issues and share feedback that helps the team refine macros, FAQs, and internal documentation.
Love "game nights": Your shifts revolve around live sports — monitoring chat volume during NFL/NBA slates, resolving time-sensitive issues, and keeping the user experience smooth when it matters most.
Sports knowledgeable: You understand betting lines, spreads, exchange mechanics, and the basics of market movement — or you're eager to learn fast.
Tech-savvy: You're comfortable navigating multiple tools and systems simultaneously without losing track of details.
Night owl: You're energized by prime-time sports and thrive on a Thursday–Monday schedule.
Strong communicator: You de-escalate frustrated users, explain complex mechanics to newcomers, and represent Novig's brand voice with confidence and empathy.
Good judgment under pressure: You think critically when situations don't fit neatly into a playbook and make smart decisions about when to act and when to escalate.
“I work with extremely stellar people, I own real systems, and decisions happen fast. No politics, no waiting for needless red tape. If something's broken, I fix it. If I build something good, it ships.”

Analytics Lead (Hiring Immediately)

Job Description
$160k – $190k • meaningful equity
About MAGMAG is the market-making and proprietary trading arm of Novig. We provide liquidity across sports related event-contract and prediction-market venues and run a proprietary book alongside the mandate. We operate lean by design. A small, senior team with direct exposure to trading, capital, and counterparty work, supported by Novig's broader platform.
With Novig recently becoming a CFTC-designated market — the fastest designation of its kind in US history— we're bringing the prediction market built for sports fans nationwide.
We're backed by some of Silicon Valley's top investors — Pantera, Forerunner, Lux, NFX, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana — who have collectively invested over $100M behind this vision.
About the RoleThis is the first dedicated analytics hire inside MAG. You won't be one analyst among many. You are the analytics function. From day one, the work you ship drives lender deliverables and the GM's daily read on the book.
You'll build and own the reporting and dashboard layer end to end on a modern stack (Postgres, Redshift, dbt, Hex, Metabase): daily P&L, intraday position and exposure visibility, auditable close-period snapshots, and covenant reporting packages. Roughly two thirds of the work is historical and close period; the remaining third is near real time operational visibility during event days. Direct access to the people making decisions, GM, traders, and engineers, comes with the seat.
You'll also have full access to modern AI tooling, including Claude Code and Cursor, and you're expected to use it. We hire people who treat LLM tooling as a force multiplier on their own work, not as something to be skeptical of or save for side projects. A lean analytics function only works when the person in the seat ships at the pace these tools enable.
Who You Are and What You Will DoBuild daily MAG P&L reporting and intraday dashboards covering open positions, exposures, and capital utilization against debt financing limits, refreshed at minute cadence on event days, with attribution by trader, strategy, venue, league, and bet type
Own the dbt layer that powers everything downstream: versioned, tested, documented, and traceable to source trades, with data quality, access controls, and audit trails aligned to firewall requirements between MAG and Novig
Produce auditable monthly close period snapshots and lender facing covenant reporting packages, in partnership with Novig
Build the data plumbing as MAG onboards new venues, traders, and strategies: normalized feeds, attribution, P&L slicing, and risk views ready before day one
Partner with the GM on backtesting and scenario analysis, and build self serve analytics so the GM and traders can answer recurring questions without you in the loop
4 to 6 years in analytics engineering with strong SQL and dbt, fluent in Hex or Metabase. Meaningful financial services or trading exposure: you know the difference between position and P&L, realized vs. unrealized, and you're comfortable modeling fees, slippage, and attribution
A designer as well as a builder. You can talk to the GM, traders, and engineers without translation, and you're comfortable being the sole analytics owner in a lean, senior firm
AI native workflow. Claude Code, Cursor, and LLM assisted development are part of how you already work, and you're opinionated about where these tools earn their keep and where they don't
I work with extremely stellar people, I own real systems, and decisions happen fast. No politics, no waiting for needless red tape. If something's broken, I fix it. If I build something good, it ships.
The people! They're smart, thoughtful, fun to work with and passionate about their craft.
I'm having the most fun I've had in my entire career.
If you want responsibility, trust, and the chance to help build the future of sports prediction markets - take your shot, we'd love to connect.
Not for EveryoneOur work is tied to live sports - that means potential nights, weekends, and pressure included.
If you need clear swim lanes, a heavy process, or someone to tell you what to do, this won't be the right environment.

About Novig
Novig is building America's #1 sports prediction market. Our mission is to financialize and democratize sports trading - taking a closed system run by casinos and turning it into a fair, efficient, two-sided market where the power sits with users.
With Novig recently becoming a CFTC-designated market - the fastest designation of its kind in US history- we're bringing the prediction market built for sports fans nationwide.
We're backed by some of Silicon Valley's top investors - Pantera, Forerunner, Lux, NFX, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana - who have collectively invested over $100M behind this vision.
About the Role
You keep the New York office running. The space stays clean, stocked, and ready - snacks topped up before they run out, the front door warm for every visitor, meeting spaces set up and ready to go. When something's about to slip, you catch it before anyone else notices. When priorities shift at noon, you adapt and keep the day on track.
This is hands-on office management with real ownership. You'll run the day to day, anticipate what's coming, and manage the dependencies that keep things moving - and you'll be a go-to resource for the broader executive team as needs come up.
Who you are and what you will do
- Experience running an office or operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Proactive, highly organized, and adaptable, ready to support the team in New York
- Welcome every visitor warmly and make sure they feel taken care of from the moment they arrive
- Take pride in the presentation of the office, keeping it clean, stocked, and always guest-ready
- Help set up and troubleshoot meeting spaces and office tech, so things run smoothly the moment a meeting starts
- Coordinate with team members across the office to help maintain the office visitor and events calendar
- Take ownership proactively, staying composed and solving problems creatively to keep things on track even as priorities shift on short notice
- Exercise sound judgment and absolute discretion when handling sensitive information and communications
- Build strong relationships with our vendors, from building management to suppliers, so everything behind the scenes runs seamlessly
- Communicate clearly and thoughtfully - writing with precision, following up consistently, sharing context with warmth and efficiency
- Support the VP of People & Operations - new hire prep and office tours, organizing room bookings to accommodate the team's scheduling needs, keeping a running list of go-to NYC spots for the team, internal event support as needed
- Support the broader executive team by keeping operational pieces on track and handling the smaller day-to-day tasks that free up the founders to focus on the big picture
I work with extremely stellar people, I own real systems, and decisions happen fast. No politics, no waiting for needless red tape. If something's broken, I fix it. If I build something good, it ships.
The people! They're smart, thoughtful, fun to work with and passionate about their craft.

About the RoleAs a Security Engineer, you'll help build the systems that make security proactive and scalable: automation pipelines, AI agents, and policy-as-code controls that handle vulnerability management, compliance enforcement, and identity security without requiring constant human intervention. This is a hands‑on role where you'll go deep on the tools and pipelines you own, sharpen your craft across core areas of security engineering, and turn well-scoped problems into reliable, lasting solutions. - Own vulnerability management end-to-end: scanning, prioritization, and automated remediation pipelines
- Implement compliance and policy as code, turning security requirements into enforceable, auditable controls
- Harden cloud environments and embed security scanning into IaC pipelines (Terraform, CDK, etc.)
- Manage and improve IAM systems – access controls, privilege boundaries, and identity lifecycle automation
- Integrate and operate MDM/EDR platforms, ensuring endpoint visibility and enforcement at scale
