+ Manage patient emergence and recovery from anesthesia by maintaining homeostasis, controlling pain, minimizing anesthesia side effects, and preventing complications.
+ Select, obtain, order, and administer medications, intravenous fluids, blood products, and ventilatory support as necessary.
+ Accurately document all pertinent anesthesia-related events, including dosages and duration of anesthetic agents, medications, intravenous fluids, blood products, and patient responses.
+ Complete post-anesthetic evaluations and document the presence or absence of anesthesia-related complications.

+ Conducts occupational/duty location surveys and recommends corrective actions.
+ May participate in the **Occupational & Environmental Health Working Group (OEHWG)** , including recording meeting minutes.
**Deployment Medical Surveillance**
+ Supports scheduling, tracking, and reporting of pre- and post-deployment requirements.
+ Assists with deployment health assessments and coordination tasks.
**Medical Readiness & Standards**
+ Assists healthcare providers with interpretation of medical standards for occupational duty, deployment, flying status, and special duty.
+ Manages aspects of the Medical Profile Program, including retraining, waivers, and specialty duties.
**Preventive Health Assessments (PHA)**
+ Performs Preventive Health Assessments.
+ Reviews fitness assessment surveys and medical records.
+ Determines if patients require evaluation by a credentialed provider.

**Clinical Psychologist - Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor, WA**

**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, (8.5-9 hour shifts, max 80 hours per two-week period)
**Summary:**
Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to active-duty military personnel and other beneficiaries. Work within a multidisciplinary team to support mental health and wellness in a military clinical setting.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Education:** PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program; completion of APA-accredited internship.
+ **Licensure:** Current, unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory.
+ **Certifications:** BLS required; ACLS preferred.
+ **Experience:** Sufficient to meet clinical competency requirements for credentialing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct psychological evaluations, testing, and interviews.
+ Diagnose per DSM-5 and provide individual and group therapy.
+ Support patients coping with illness, injury, or rehabilitation.
+ Maintain accurate documentation in systems such as AHLTA and MHS Genesis.
+ Participate in peer review, training, and performance improvement activities.
+ Adhere to ethical, legal, safety, and infection control standards.
+ Engage in continuing education and annual mandatory trainings.
+ Support Family Advocacy and other command programs as needed.
Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0700 and 1630 hours. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5-to-9-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break
