As Director of Pricing & Contracting, Mainline & Beyfortus Vaccines, you will support the development and execution of comprehensive pricing strategies across medical and retail segments. Main Responsibilities Strategic Market Leadership
  • Define a clear market vision for Mainline and Beyfortus Vaccines, recommending product price increases and Gross-to-Net adjustments (GTNs)
  • Develop innovative contract platforms across medical segments to optimize short- and long-term business objectives
  • Lead pricing strategy for unique customer requests across Medical and Retail segments
  • Evaluate relative portfolios of Sanofi and competitors to make strategic contract platform recommendations
  • Manage pricing strategy for Vaxelis, maintaining appropriate Firewall within the portfolio
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
  • Partner with Franchise and Sales teams to develop competitive offers for Mainline and Beyfortus growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with Government Pricing team to actively manage private sector pricing risks and ensure compliance
  • Support cross-functional execution of pricing activities while ensuring SOX, GAAP, and internal controls compliance
  • Work closely with Senior Director of Pricing and Contracting Strategy Lead for Mainline & Beyfortus to develop overarching strategy for short- and long-term decisions
Customer‑Focused Innovation
  • Harness deep understanding of customer behavior, medical reimbursement, cost containment methods, and competitive dynamics
  • Support development of new contract platforms and continued innovation of existing platforms to secure market growth
  • Create communication vehicles to define pricing and contracting value for customers
  • Train sales force on contract platforms and commercial offers
  • Ensure all validated commercial offers are properly archived and communicated to contracting teams
Analytical Excellence
  • Determine price sensitivity and develop optimization models to maximize corporate objectives
  • Make complex recommendations with imperfect information involving substantial long‑term financial risk
  • Provide clear trade‑off analytics and risk assessments for pricing decisions
  • Drive cross‑functional pricing decisions with marketing, finance, legal, and market access leaders
About You Experience & Education
  • 7+ years of commercial vaccines or pharmaceutical experience, including pricing, contracting, market access, marketing, account management or finance
  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at executive level and align stakeholders on key decisions
  • Proven track record making strategic recommendations with compressed timeframes and imperfect information

Clinical Data Technology Leadership
  • Partner with clinical development teams to ensure seamless data flow and study execution across therapeutic areas

Business Strategy Leadership

Compliance and Ethics

  • Develop and maintain robust data governance, privacy, and security protocols related to AI and advanced analytics

About YOU Basic Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, Biostatistics, or related field. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree AND extensive leadership experience may also be considered.
  • 10+ years of Progressive experience in leadership roles within clinical development, data management, biostatistics, AI, or related fields in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Extensive expertise in clinical data management and analytics throughout the clinical development lifecycle

Job Summary:

In this role, the candidate will serve as the resident expert in GRA US Advertising and Promotion (A&P) group on promotion, labeling, product defense, and development strategies for assigned product(s). The Director is responsible for decision‑making, direction, and oversight of the day‑to‑day activities of their assigned products, departmental activities, and direct reports (if applicable) in order to meet internal and external customer needs. Develops and implements regulatory strategies for marketed products within their product area. Provides input into the global organization for labeling strategies of marketed and pipeline products. Demonstrates significant autonomy in carrying out assigned duties and responsibilities. Liaises with FDA regarding product promotion matters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Makes decisions, provides strategic direction and oversight for the day‑to‑day activities for assigned products, departmental activities, and direct reports (if applicable)
  • In conjunction with the US A&P Therapeutic Area Head, develops effective regulatory strategies regarding product promotion and imparts senior regulatory guidance and advice during issues management activities
  • Continually monitors the regulatory environment, interprets new regulations, guidance documents, and enforcement activities/trends and evaluates the impact on the business
  • Mentors and develops the professional expertise of US A&P staff in their product areas
  • Establishes and develops key internal relationships with therapeutic product leaders in Commercial organization, R&D and Corporate functions (e.g., Communications, Compliance, Legal) to foster open communication and teamwork
  • Assures alignment and consistency in US A&P policy application within and across assigned products; takes into account the totality of product‑related and company activities
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with relevant FDA staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned
About You Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university; Science focus preferred, but not required
  • Experience within pharmaceutical or medical device Regulatory Affairs
  • Successful track record with 8+ years relevant regulatory experience
  • Experience in Advertising and Promotion in Regulatory required
  • Dealt effectively with cross‑functional groups, which may include Medical, Legal, Marketing etc.
  • Experience managing others preferred
  • Regularly demonstrates the ability to participate in a more strategic capacity in the functional area and day‑to‑day decision making process
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of complex medical and scientific subject matter
  • Ability to work well within cross‑functional teams
  • Can demonstrate solid oral communication and writing skills
  • Understanding of the U.S. pharmaceutical marketplace and familiarity with medical terminology. Understands issues, problems, and opportunities by comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions and then can choose a course of action or develop the appropriate solution.
  • Develops collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
  • Generates innovative solutions in work situations, trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities
