Job Summary
As dedicated resources within each operating group (Transportation, Industrial, Building, and Renewables), proposal specialists support Sundt's efforts to win work by creating winning pursuit deliverables.
Working alongside pursuit leaders and business development personnel, proposal specialists create best-in class proposals and presentations. This person will be highly motivated, have strong organizational and proven proposal skills, and strong industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
1. Actively participates in quality control process, including performing research or information-gathering as required to resolve issues, and supports efficiencies to improve the overall pursuit process.
2. Maintains and reinforces standards set forth in Sundt's Brand Guidelines, Style Guide, Pursuit Process Guidelines, etc.
3. Provides overall management of each assigned deliverable's design and production process with responsibility for quality, scheduling, and on-time delivery.
4. Independently manages the data gathering process, including conducting data-gathering interview of project team members, managing complex project information, and preparing narrative content suitable for distribution.
5. Assists in supporting proposal manager, pursuit leader and other internal stakeholders through facilitating cross-group collaboration and the resources for process improvement, creating/editing relevant documents in Adobe InDesign
6. Participates in the ongoing maintenance of Sundt's CRM database, including data collection, validation, entry and updating, as well as creating and running complex reports and documents. Serves as a subject-matter expert and collaborates with CRM Systems Manager on system improvements.
7. Serves as lead coordinator of individual pursuit-related deliverables (i.e., prequalification materials, SQQ/proposals, and presentation materials), with responsibility to write or develop key sections.
8. Works with other pursuit team members to help develop and craft consistent messaging, layouts, and presentations of Sundt themes, as well as building upon win strategies, ideas, skills, and capabilities.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. 1-3 years of marketing/proposal experience in A/E/C industry; 4-7 years for Senior position eligibility.
2. Additional professional or technical certifications ideal.
3. Bachelor of marketing, English, communications, journalism, or similar preferred.
4. Must be a skilled writer and able to effectively communicate highly technical concepts, terms and processes to varying audiences.
5. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite programs required; knowledge of full Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, and Cosential (or other CRM database) preferred.

Job Summary

Job Summary
The Project Scheduler will provide technical assistance in creating and updating CPM schedules at all phases of each project throughout their duration, from conceptual to close-out. You will be Sundt Construction's in-house scheduling expert, including coordinating the CPM schedule creation and updating tasks directly with the project superintendent. The Project Scheduler produces and delivers various reports from the CPM schedule to the project team and may supervise one or more Project Scheduler assistants. The Project Scheduler I position includes 3-5 years CPM scheduling experience in similar types of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assists in the development of claims by providing analysis of project CPM schedule performance.
2. Assists the Project Superintendent with the incorporation into the CPM schedule the effects form design conflicts and clarifications.
3. Assists the project superintendent with the management of the CPM schedule for the successful execution of the work, including the coordination of the means and methods, manpower, equipment and material resources required to accomplish this goal.
4. Conducts project CPM schedule review meetings at each of proposal, baseline and update phases.
5. Creates the baseline schedule based on logic and sequence information provided by the project superintendent.
6. Develops proposal phase CPM schedules from project information provided by the estimating team and historical database.
7. Produce a final as-built CPM schedule at the completion of each project.
8. Provides reports each month to the general manager indicating the status of the CPM schedule for each project.
9. Regularly updates and maintains the historical CPM schedule database.
10. Revises each project CPM schedule on a weekly basis from reports completed by the project superintendent.
Minimum Job Requirements:
1. Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.
2. Five years or more of CPM scheduling and field operations experience in similar types of construction including power and heavy industrial projects.
3. Four-year construction management or engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
4. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
5. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), scheduling systems, negotiations, engineering and cost control schedules.

Job Summary
Supports project teams in all aspects of the contract process, including preconstruction. Has advanced knowledge of the Prime Contract, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders. Primary duties include supporting the estimating team, creating subcontracts, purchase order agreements and other forms of contracts for quality control purposes. Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with project team, subcontractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assists Construction Contracts Manager with Prime Contract Amendments and Negotiations.
2. Assists in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects.
3. Coordination with Preconstruction, Prequalification Department, and AP to ensure all Subcontractors are prequalified and suppliers/vendors are set up in E1.
4. Develop and maintain Procurement Matrix and Project Dashboard with Project Team input.
5. Develop and maintain necessary reporting of contract performance.
6. Ensure project is set up through SLIP, CCIP, OCIP portals and that subcontracts are set up appropriately, if applicable. Requires firm understanding of the insurance programs particular to the project.
7. Establish and maintain cost control procedures.
8. Issue subcontracts and purchase orders and ensure all required documentation is in place and current, prior to execution of agreement and start of work.
9. Manage progress, risk mitigation and insurance requirements for all contracts.
10. Prepares and solicits bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts.
11. Train and support other Admin team members with Prime contract review and understanding to ensure compliance.
12. Work with Project Team and Suppliers/Subcontractors to ensure procurement activities and contracts are prioritized and occurring to support the project schedule.
13. Work with Project Team, Preconstruction, and Legal Team, as necessary, to ensure contract verbiage and documents are up to date and agreed upon.

Job Summary
Assists the Project Engineer with being the technical source of information for the project. Responds to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders and have responsibility for assisting in writing change orders, RFl's, meeting minutes, and reviewing Submittals. Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
This position includes three 'steps' (I, II and Senior), which provide for a progression of skill and experience. Step II is used for employees with 2 years of experience in this position, or with experience on larger and more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting. Ensures the timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of meeting agendas, RFl's and daily reports.
2.Ensures the administration of the project quality management plan and demonstrates and reinforces a culture of safety throughout the project.
3.May assist in the calculation of daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work. Participates in risk management including identification, analysis, response planning and monitoring and control on a project and demonstrates competency in understanding the environmental control processes for the project and takes corrective actions when necessary.
4.May be responsible for overseeing/managing the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordination between Subcontractors and Designers.
5.May be responsible for the documentation and submittal for the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification of a building and for creating and updating Digital Record Drawings (ORD).
6.May provide lines, grades and layout as required for the project while maintaining an organized logbook.
7.May provide the following weekly quantities maintains accurate quantity logs and reports quantities in compliance with the cost control manual. Completed logs are to be filed with the project files. Perform elements of the processes involved in budgeting and controlling costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. Demonstrates business acumen within area of responsibility. (Not all Field Engineers track quantities).
8.Provides support to superintendents required for the execution of the work and assists in the resolution of field problems as necessary.

Basic Job Functions
Provide leadership, management, and supervision necessary for the planning, lay-out, and performing all types of concrete work in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Plan and coordinate the efforts of all foremen or crews under his/her supervision and provide all resources needed for the work to be done safely, correctly, and efficiently. Job Summary
You will be expected to negotiate terms and conditions on contracts for construction procurement for awarded projects. Your role will have a heavy focus on developing, reviewing and negotiating contracts with subcontractors, vendors, services, and suppliers from start to finish on all agreement types.
Individuals with experience in an engineering and/or construction related role preferred, as well as basic contracts review/development/negotiation experience is desired. We're looking for a team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives. Someone that is detail-oriented, highly motivated with the ability to effectively manage time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Able to communicate via phone and/or email to solve problems quickly.
2. Analyze and understand prime and subcontract insurance certificates; interact with contract administrators to ensure appropriate evidence of insurance coverage is provided prior to contract execution.
3. Detailed and organized work ethic to help facilitate reviews and make sure items are proceeding promptly.
4. Develop contracts, using our lnEight system.
5. In co-operation with the legal department, will assist in negotiating the terms and conditions of agreements, and documenting and agreeing on any changes or amendments required.
6. Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors when required.
7. Responsible for assisting in establishing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of Sundt's agreements.
8. Support procurement staff meetings and provide legal communication to the team as needed.
9. The ideal candidate will have the ability to draft subcontracts and purchase orders for construction projects. Knowledge of unit price contracts is beneficial.
10. Understanding of construction estimates and budgets.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
2. Four-year Engineering, Construction Management Degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience 5 or more years.
3. lnEight Software experience highly encouraged.
4. Past experience as an Engineer, Project Manager, or Estimator is desired but not required.
5. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
6. Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
