As a Senior Structural Design Engineer , you’ll oversee multiple structural projects from start to finish—designing anchorage, seismic bracing, and vibration isolation systems for HVAC, plumbing, and piping equipment. In this role, you’ll balance hands-on design work with mentorship, task delegation, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll also serve as a subject matter expert, supporting both project execution and team development.

What you will do

• Manage multiple structural projects that vary in complexity, owning design execution from inception to delivery.
• Review incoming design requests, prioritize workload, and delegate design tasks to junior engineers based on skill and capacity.
• Mentor and coach Design Engineers I and II, providing guidance on design best practices, code interpretation, and field challenges.
• Provide input to the Structural Lead on workload planning and team development efforts, and maintaining internal standards and preferred product documentation.
• Serve as the team’s subject matter expert on anchorage and vibration isolation design, including advanced knowledge of system applications, product options, and limitations.
• Design structural support systems, including seismic bracing, anchorage, and isolation systems for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Perform structural calculations for non-structural components in compliance with applicable codes and standards (CBC, CMC, IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, ANSI, AISC, NDS, SMACNA, and ASHRAE).
• Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select, validate, and confirm compatibility of anchorage and isolation components with both design criteria and field conditions.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Detailers, Superintendents, and Foremen to evaluate constructability, resolve field constraints, and coordinate timely revisions.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on structural design matters, participating in engineering turnover meetings, project meetings, and design coordination efforts.
• Create and compile detailed anchorage and bracing calculation packages, including CAD-generated details, with clear and consistent presentation.
• Stamp design packages with a current PE license where required for permit submissions or code compliance.
• Attend manufacturer-led training sessions, industry seminars, and SVM’s internal Learning & Development courses to stay current on evolving codes, standards, and best practices in structural design.

Education, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering required .
• 8+ years’ of structural design experience with a minimum of 3+ years designing structural components for HVAC & Plumbing projects/systems required .
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or Nevada required .
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-engineers required .
• Proven ability to support multiple projects with shifting priorities and fast-paced schedules required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, Bluebeam, RISA-3D, Microsoft Office Products, and anchor design software preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and seismic design criteria required.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment anchorage, and seismic bracing in the MEP industry required .
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work a must.
• Demonstrated success mentoring and coaching engineers at various levels a plus .

Compensation & Company Benefits Include

This is a full-time exempt position. The compensation for this role is $125,000 - $175,000 annually and is based on experience and skillset.

As an Accounting Specialist , you will have the opportunity to support the Accounting Department with tasks related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The Accounting Specialist will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure the accuracy of job costing and expenses, directly contributing to the financial success of our projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining compliance and financial controls.

What you will do

• Review and reconcile invoices against purchase orders, collaborating closely with the purchasing team.
• Work with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and reconcile statements.
• Partner with the project management team to process monthly billings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare conditional and unconditional lien waivers for billings.
• Track vendor lien releases.
• Monitor and review the Accounts Receivable report, supporting collection of outstanding payments.
• Assist in improving efficiency within AP/AR functions in coordination with Purchasing, Project Managers, and the Service Department.
• Support the month-end close process, including tasks and annual audits as needed.
• Support the Accounting department with other tasks and projects as business requires.

Education, Skills & Experience

• 1-3 years of accounting experience required, within the construction industry preferred;
• Knowledge of construction accounting preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred; High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manipulate reports required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a positive attitude a must.
• Well organized with strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines consistently required.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and confidential information with discretion required.

This is a hybrid, full-time, exempt position. The compensation for this role is $68,640 - $95,000 annually and is based on experience and skillset.

As a Service Inside Sales Coordinator , you will have the opportunity to support a dynamic team of commercial HVAC Account Managers throughout pre‑ and post‑sales activities. This role will utilize their technical expertise, acting as a central liaison between our internal teams and clients within the Bay Area to ensure we uphold a seamless sales process and deliver excellent customer service.

• Support the service sales team with pre-sale and post-sale activities.
• Engage with customers verbally and written as directed by the Service Account Managers.
• Collaborate with external vendors to procure HVAC materials for our commercial clients, ensuring timely communication of lead times to the relevant team members when necessary.
• Maintain and regularly update the customer sales log within the assigned region as required.
• Generate and manage purchase orders while meticulously documenting accurate vendor details, material requirements, part numbers, and other related information.
• Develop pricing proposals for new customers and quoted work/recommendations received from field technicians.
• Maintains assigned area’s quoted repair log and shares updates with the team during office meetings.
• Process equipment warranties as required for assigned service team.
• Assist the Area Foreman as needed with customer questions or concerns.
• Supports the Service Department with other tasks as business requires.

• 3+ years’ experience as a Service Coordinator within a Sales team or similar role required.
• 2+ years’ experience working with a mechanical contractor required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience) required.
• Highly proficient with various office equipment and programs including MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) required.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and common terminology utilized highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal team members and customers required.
• Proven ability to be an effective multitasker with great time management and organizational skills required.

This is a full-time exempt position. The compensation for this role is $75,000 - $110,000 annually and is based on experience and skillset.
