Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Responsible for overseeing the operations of assigned gaming tables, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and company policies, and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Supervises the Croupiers in the performance of their duties. Corrects errors as necessary, intercedes with guest complaints, makes necessary corrections, and provides appropriate game security.
  • Responsible for gaming equipment, game protection and all assets of the company.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve disputes, and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of table activity, including cash handling and game payouts.
  • Collaborate with the pit manager to optimize table game operations and revenue.
  • Conduct regular inspections of gaming equipment and ensure tables are clean and properly maintained.
  • Report any suspicious activity or irregularities to management.
  • Assist in managing game promotions and special events.
  • Uphold the casino's standards of integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Utilizes the casino system appropriately.
  • Supervisors will interact with all departments as necessary and provide guest service.
  • Compliance with federal requirements regarding Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism requirements, CTRC's, SARC, Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, BSA, FTC, OFAC, Privacy of Information Act. Must comply with all BSA/OFAC and AML policy and procedures as well as PRTC Regulations.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Hospitality oriented.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; in Hospitality or gaming management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a casino environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of table games rules and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades Claves
  • Apoyar al Chief Engineer en la supervisión diaria del Departamento de Ingeniería y Mantenimiento del hotel, asegurando el funcionamiento eficiente de todas las instalaciones.
  • Asistir en la coordinación y supervisión del personal de ingeniería, proporcionando orientación técnica, asignación de tareas y seguimiento al desempeño del equipo.
  • Participar en la implementación de programas de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo para proteger los activos del hotel y minimizar interrupciones operacionales.
  • Colaborar en el control de gastos operativos del departamento, apoyando el manejo del presupuesto y el uso eficiente de recursos y materiales.
  • Apoyar en el cumplimiento de normativas locales, estatales y federales aplicables en Puerto Rico, incluyendo códigos de seguridad, OSHA, permisos y estándares de la industria hotelera.
  • Supervisar trabajos realizados por contratistas externos, asegurando calidad, cumplimiento de plazos y adherencia a los estándares del hotel.
  • Asistir en la identificación y resolución de problemas técnicos que afecten áreas de huéspedes y colaboradores, priorizando la satisfacción del cliente y la continuidad operacional.
  • Apoyar la planificación y ejecución de proyectos menores de mejora o renovación de instalaciones.
  • Mantener comunicación constante con otros departamentos (Housekeeping, Front Desk, Seguridad y Operaciones) para coordinar trabajos y minimizar impactos a los huéspedes.
  • Analizar fallas técnicas y proponer soluciones prácticas y oportunas, incluyendo la gestión de repuestos, herramientas y programación de turnos.
  • Asegurar que el personal cumpla con los estándares de uniformes, apariencia profesional y confidencialidad de la información del hotel.
  • Cumplir y hacer cumplir las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad del hotel; reportar accidentes, lesiones o condiciones inseguras y participar en entrenamientos y certificaciones requeridas.
  • Mantener relaciones laborales positivas, apoyando al equipo para alcanzar objetivos comunes y atendiendo inquietudes del personal de manera profesional y respetuosa.
  • Mantenerse actualizado sobre mejores prácticas y tecnologías aplicables al mantenimiento hotelero, compartiendo recomendaciones con el Chief Engineer cuando sea pertinente.
Cualificaciones
  • Experiencia comprobada de 4 a 6 años en el área de ingeniería o mantenimiento de edificios, preferiblemente en hoteles o propiedades de servicio, con experiencia supervisando personal técnico.
  • Conocimiento sólido en oficios de construcción y mantenimiento, incluyendo Electricidad, Mecánica, HVAC, Plomería y Mantenimiento General de Edificios.
  • Experiencia apoyando la administración de presupuestos operativos, control de costos, mantenimiento preventivo y coordinación de proyectos menores.
  • Conocimiento práctico de regulaciones y estándares de seguridad aplicables a instalaciones, incluyendo OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC y NFPA, con capacidad para apoyar su cumplimiento.
  • Experiencia en las siguientes áreas: Aire acondicionado y refrigeración, Electricidad y sistemas mecánicos, Sistemas neumáticos/electrónicos y controles, Plomería, Carpintería y acabados, Equipos de cocina y mantenimiento general de edificios.

Esta posición también brindará apoyo en funciones clave de Recursos Humanos, incluyendo la gestión de licencias, cumplimiento normativo, mantenimiento de expedientes de empleados y apoyo general a las iniciativas de bienestar y servicio al empleado.

Responsabilidades Claves
  • Co-administrar los programas de beneficios para empleados, incluidos seguro médico, dental, de visión, seguro de vida, planes de retiro e iniciativas de bienestar.
  • Coordinar los programas de licencias de empleados (por ejemplo, FMLA, maternidad/paternidad, SINOT, Fondo del Seguro del Estado, incapacidad a corto plazo), asegurando el cumplimiento y la documentación precisa.
  • Servir como el punto principal de contacto para consultas sobre beneficios de empleados, reclamaciones y resolución de problemas.
  • Mantener y actualizar los registros de beneficios de los empleados en el HRIS, garantizando la integridad y exactitud de los datos.
  • Comunicar claramente las ofertas de beneficios a nuevos empleados y empleados actuales; realizar orientaciones sobre beneficios según sea necesario.
  • Coordinar y apoyar los procesos anuales de inscripción abierta.
  • Actuar como enlace con aseguradoras, corredores y administradores externos para resolver problemas y mantener los estándares de servicio.
  • Supervisar la elegibilidad de beneficios y procesar inscripciones y bajas de manera oportuna.
  • Asistir en auditorías internas y en la elaboración de informes de cumplimiento (por ejemplo, COBRA, plan de salud, plan de retiro, ACAA, Fondo del Seguro del Estado, SINOT).
  • Mantenerse informado sobre las regulaciones locales y federales relevantes en materia de beneficios y asegurar que las políticas de RR. HH. se actualicen en consecuencia.
  • Crear y distribuir comunicaciones de beneficios dirigidas a los empleados, incluyendo guías, preguntas frecuentes (FAQ) y avisos.
  • Mantener la confidencialidad de los datos de los empleados y manejar asuntos sensibles con profesionalismo.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento normativo y escalar problemas complejos cuando sea apropiado.
Cualificaciones
  • Bachillerato en Recursos Humanos, Administración de Empresas o un campo relacionado.
  • Mínimo de 1 a 3 años de experiencia en recursos humanos y administración de beneficios, preferiblemente en la industria hotelera o de servicios.
  • Experiencia demostrada en programas de beneficios para empleados, incluyendo seguro médico, planes de retiro y políticas de licencias, así como administración de licencias como FMLA, SINOT y Fondo del Seguro del Estado.
  • Sólidas habilidades organizativas y administrativas, con una atención excepcional al detalle.
  • Capacidad para manejar información confidencial con un alto nivel de profesionalismo y discreción.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación e interpersonales, con una fuerte orientación al servicio al cliente interno.
  • Capacidad para gestionar múltiples prioridades y cumplir con plazos en un entorno dinámico.
  • Conocimiento de las leyes laborales locales y federales, así como de las prácticas de cumplimiento en recursos humanos.
  • Dominio del inglés y español (bilingüe).
