What You'll Do:
As the Facility Manager, you will oversee all warehouse operations while ensuring safety, efficiency, inventory accuracy, and outstanding service for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead all warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, fulfillment, inventory control, and packing activities.
- Operate a 26-foot box truck to complete customer pickups and deliveries, ensuring products are loaded, secured, and transported safely and on time. Supervise employees performing transportation duties and ensure the same standards are consistently followed.
- Maintain a highly visible presence on the warehouse floor while coaching and supporting employees.
- Establish and maintain productivity, quality, safety, and accuracy standards.
- Plan, prioritize, and organize daily warehouse workflow to meet customer expectations.
- Manage staffing levels to meet operational demands, including recruiting, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
- Develop and implement operational procedures that improve efficiency and ensure consistency.
- Hold team members accountable for individual and team performance goals.
- Oversee inventory control processes including cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure facility equipment remains in safe operating condition.
- Review warehouse documentation, receiving records, shipping paperwork, and vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Partner with leadership, customer service, finance, and transportation teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and warehouse best practices.
- Maintain proficiency with warehouse management systems and operational reporting.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate facility performance to leadership.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Proven leadership experience managing warehouse or distribution center operations.
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
- Minimum of two years of experience operating a 26-foot box truck or larger.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record reflecting no accidents or moving violations within the past five years.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment and enforce company policies.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified on warehouse equipment.
Preferred Experience
- Two to five years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment management experience.
- Experience within the transportation, shipping, or third-party logistics (3PL) industry strongly preferred.
- Experience managing inventory control and warehouse KPIs.
- Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.Familiarity with WMS platforms such as Advatix, MAPPS, or similar warehouse software.
- Experience leading teams in a high-volume fulfillment environment.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent leadership experience will also be considered.
$75,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DOThe General Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational performance, and financial management of multiple warehouse and fulfillment facilities within the Napa, California region. This role provides oversight of warehousing, distribution, fulfillment operations, inventory management, customer service, transportation coordination, and client relationships while ensuring operational excellence, scalability, profitability, and exceptional customer experience.
This leader will partner closely with executive leadership, customers, sales, and other cross‑functional departments to drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement initiatives, service performance, employee engagement, and long‑term business growth. The General Manager serves as a key customer‑facing leader and is expected to build strong client relationships while ensuring fulfillment and operational commitments are consistently achieved.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties- Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives by department.
- Plan, direct, control, implement and evaluate budgets for each location to achieve financial objectives.
- Establish relationships with other departments, vendors, and customers to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day‑to‑day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

- Forecast staffing, operational capacity, and resource requirements based on customer growth and business demands.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve profitability while maintaining service excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop operational leadership teams across multiple facilities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, communication, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Human Resources regarding recruiting, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and organizational development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA requirements, labor laws, and operational regulations.
- Champion workplace safety initiatives and ensure safety programs and training are effectively maintained.
- Lead special projects and operational initiatives as and duties as assigned.
- Directly supervises Facility Manager and Warehouse and Fulfillment Supervisors at two facilities. Two facilities may be combined into one in future.
- Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, fulfillment operations, inventory management, and supply chain best practices.
- Proven leadership experience managing multi‑site warehouse and fulfillment operations.
- Strong customer‑facing experience with the ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead operational growth and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing operational budgets, labor planning, and financial performance.

- Experience with direct‑to‑consumer (DTC), retail, wholesale, and/or e‑commerce fulfillment operations preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- 3 + years wine fulfillment experience required
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations.
- 5+ years of multi‑site operational leadership experience preferred.
- Experience managing customer relationships within a third‑party logistics (3PL), fulfillment, distribution, or warehousing environment strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and operational leadership experience may be considered
