• Serves as primary support for the spa's manager, therapists and guests
• Ensures that every guest has a friendly, inviting and memorable experience
• Have a welcoming and warm personality, outgoing, never met a stranger
• Answers incoming calls, listens to our guests' needs to schedule appointments or give service recommendations, and collects payment for services
• Partners with the therapists to increase their guest retention and retail sales by scheduling the guest's next appointment during checkout and promotes the recommended products
• Educates guests on the Woodhouse experience including a warm welcome, introduction to our locker room and amenities, and helping them to have a seamless experience
• Drives service and retail sales/awareness by educating guests on products, services and treatments
• Remembers the small things that make The Woodhouse special--the guest's favorite drink, personal details such as birthdays and anniversaries and can pamper our guests
• Have strong computer skills and prefer previous experience with scheduling software
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to work shifts Monday through Sunday and able to be flexible with your schedule. Spa hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 8pm, Saturday 9am - 7pm and Sunday 12pm - 6pm.

As Spa Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Manage the daily operations of the spa
• Make sure both guests and team members are scheduled efficiently and effectively
• Coach and develop team members
• Maximize inventory for professional and retail use
• Understand our software systems and utilize tools to analyze spa's overall performance
• Take the lead in neighborhood marketing and community outreach
• Ensures each guest has a phenomenal and consistent experience
• Understands that serving and helping others leads to personal satisfaction

Preference for 3 years work experience in a spa, retail or cosmetics management position. Experience in guest relations and management is necessary. Skills include: administrative, computer, organizational, communication, retailing, and training.

The Woodhouse Day Spa - Detroit is a hospitality and personal services company located at 1447 Woodward Ave, Detroit, Michigan, United States. The spa offers a serene and luxurious environment for guests to relax and rejuvenate with a range of spa treatments and services.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Experienced Spa Hospitality Professional at The Woodhouse Day Spa - Detroit. The role involves providing top-notch customer service, guest relations such booking appointments using Point of Sale system (familiarity with Zenoti or Meevo is a plus), selling retail skincare products and assist with serving guests and driving gift card sales through exceptional client interactions.

• Expertise in Hospitality Services in a spa, salon, or hotel environment
• Customer Service and Sales skills
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills with POS spa software
• Ability to multi-task and also perform back of the house tasks
