Determine the scope of internal audit and develop an annual plan.
Get, analyze and evaluate accounting documents, previous reports, data, flowcharts and more.
Edit the report to reflect the results of the audit and document the process.
Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure the effectiveness, legality and achievement of your goals.
Identify gaps and recommend risk aversion and cost savings.
Maintain open communication with management and audit committees.
Document the process and create a memorandum of audit results.
Perform follow-up audits to monitor management interventions.
Participate in the ongoing development of knowledge about sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, technologies and performance standards.
Proven work experience as an internal auditor or senior auditor.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases.
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and edit detailed reports.
Solid knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
Great attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Good independent judgment.
Bachelor of Accounting or Finance.
