Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of your maintenance, tools and engineering departments to facilitate efficient manufacturing operations throughout your organization.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the in-house tooling and equipment department to create jigs and fixtures.
Be in charge of the BOMs in our ERP system.
Managing a team of approximately eight people.
Be in charge of developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures.
Analyze potential capacity, optimize Kanban sizes and ensure that the outputs of the various factory areas are balanced.
Implement stringent procedures and be in charge of manufacturing change control.
Manage stock changeover plans to ensure a smooth transition.
Working closely with quality assurance and supply chain departments to improve suppliers’ processes and keep defects to a minimum.
Implement continuous improvement projects to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Implement and monitor Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies for optimal manufacturing.
Be in charge of the creation of technical resources for training purposes.
Investigate new methodologies for improving the manufacturing process.
Improve the Right First Time KPI and strive for a zero-defect culture.
Collaborate closely with the design department to ensure that product specifications are met.

Requirements:
Extensive Lean and Continuous Improvement skills.
Strong Manufacturing and Engineering experience
