Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Ensure that a company’s digital marketing campaigns and strategies are optimized for search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo.

Responsibilities:
Meeting with the design, writing, and marketing teams to brainstorm and define advertising needs.
Conduct keyword research, consumer trends, and competitor brand research.
Analyzing and interpreting research and analytic data in order to inform marketing strategy
Creating and implementing online marketing campaigns to increase search engine results and website traffic.
Putting PPC advertising campaigns and SEO best practices into action.
SEM analytics such as redirects, click rates, and customer acquisition rates are monitored.
Managing and adjusting PPC budgets to maximize ROI for paid advertisements.
Working with designers and writers to ensure that all content adheres to SEO best practices.

Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
A minimum of two years of experience as an SEM specialist or equivalent is required.
Knowledge of analytics and PPC platforms such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Facebook Business Manager is required.
Excellent knowledge of SEO and SEM techniques and best practices.
Extensive knowledge of search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Extensive knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.
