Full Job Description

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary Accounting Clerk to support our finance department during a temporary period. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.

Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Proven experience in an accounting or finance role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
