Job Duties
The Supreme Court of Virginia, Office of the
Executive Secretary is seeking applications for a full-time Accounts
Payable Specialist position. This position will work in the Fiscal
Services Department.
This position offers a competitive

Essential
Duties & Responsibilities:
The accounts payable specialist
will be working in a team environment to analyze, audit, code, and
process the large volume of accounting and expenditure documents
received from the circuit and district courts of Virginia. This
position will have frequent contact with court personnel, vendors,
attorneys, and other state agencies. In addition, this position will
research and resolve inquiries concerning expenditure payments and
will assist in organizing and filing department work papers and
report.
Minimum Qualifications
-
High School Diploma
- One or more years of accounts payable
experience
- Excellent data entry skills
- Effective
written and oral communication skills
- Computer proficient
Additional Considerations
Preferred applicants will have strong analytical and decision-making skills.
