The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking one or more full-time Agents for our Multi-County Grand Jury Unit.
Position Summary:
The Multi-County Grand Jury Unit investigates and prosecutes a variety of crimes including public corruption, defrauding the state or other governmental entities, complex white collar crimes, and crimes with statewide impact. Responsibilities of this position include: conducting interviews, writing reports, conducting complex and confidential investigations, communicating and working with prosecutors, and testifying in court proceedings. The successful applicant will be required to maintain the confidentiality of information developed during the course of criminal investigations, as well as, performing the duties of a certified peace officer. This position also entails periodic travel.
Qualifications :
- Applicants must be CLEET certified peace officer in Oklahoma or eligible for reciprocity under the rules and guidelines of the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET)
- Minimum of five (5) years conducting criminal and/or administrative investigations
- Preference may be given to applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree
