Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role as an Animal Care Technician at Pine Hill Kennel and Sportsmans Club located in Rockford, MI. As an Animal Care Technician, you will be responsible for day-to-day care and handling of animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercise. You will also assist with the maintenance of animal enclosures and ensure a clean and safe environment for the animals. This role requires strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for animal welfare.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with animals, such as in a shelter, kennel, or veterinary setting
• Knowledge of animal care and welfare practices
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely
• Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Basic computer skills for record keeping
