Are you interested in growing a career in the EV industry?


EPG (EPGAmerica.com) is currently seeking a full-time Automotive Technician for one of our electric car OEM partners. In this position, you will work independently, providing highly-skilled repair services for electric vehicles with a strong focus on excellent customer service. 


Responsibilities

  • Providing outstanding customer experience

  • Diagnosing and repairing general electrical systems, while being mindful of high-voltage safety measures.

  • Engaging in effective communication and teamwork with every member of the service team.

  • Following repair procedures and ensuring documentation is correct for all repair orders.

  • Examining the appointment schedule, allocating adequate time for travel and visit duration when providing mobile services.

  • Exhibiting a keen eye for detail and a strong drive to provide exceptional client experiences.

  • Performing cleaning, maintenance, and organization tasks for the mobile service vehicle.

  • Effectively addressing customer concerns with creative solutions in a fast-paced work setting.

  • Utilizing suitable management software to accurately document the repair process for customer vehicles.

  • Being deeply committed to sustainable transportation and driving positive change in the automotive industry.



Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and willingness to interact directly with customers on a regular basis

  • Strong automotive repair skills with an emphasis on diagnostics

  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to drive a work truck/trailer

  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check

  • 21+ years of age

  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment


Ideal Qualifications
  • EPA 609 and ASR Certifications

  • Basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to learn proprietary DMS software

  • Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems and Electric Vehicle powertrains

  • Highly organized

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
