Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bench Jeweler at DAVID WEISZ in New York, NY. The Bench Jeweler will be responsible for performing a range of jewelry-making tasks on site. This includes setting, polishing, customer service, among other duties.

Qualifications

• Master in setting prong an bezel setting.
• Diamond and colored-stone setting experience
• Experience working with diverse materials (e.g., platinum, yellow gold, white gold) and gemstones/diamonds
• Polishing skills
• Customer service
• Experience working with earrings necklaces and bracelets, engineering of various mechanisms such as connections, clasps, etc.
• Soldering with platinum and gold
• Using the laser welder
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Experience in repairing and creating diamond jewelry is a plus
• Professional certification in jewelry-making or related field is a plus
