Truck Centers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Dispatch / Transfer Driver to join our team shuttling trucks between Truck Centers' dealerships or to customer terminals. We offer flexible hours and mostly same-day shuttle runs. Successful candidates will boast a friendly, can-do attitude, safe driving record with Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement, and solid time management skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Pick up and deliver customer units to/from Service in a safe and timely manner.
• Transfer Class 6-8 trucks or chase vehicles between TCI dealerships or customer locations throughout IL, IN, and MO.
• Positively engage with customers to deliver paperwork, documentation, or information to verify the work needed or performed, special accommodations, or requests.
• Ensure vehicle is presented in a clean manner and according to company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and other routine maintenance checks as assigned.
• Shuttle customers to nearby hotels or restaurants as needed using company vehicles.

What We're Looking For:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement and ability to meet insurance requirements; Class A CDL preferred
• Must be 21 years of age
• Proven knowledge of commercial vehicle equipment and operating systems
• Understanding of federal and state regulations regarding operating Class 6-8 trucks
• Resourceful, collaborative team player with the ability to also thrive independently
• Ability to lift or move up to 70 lbs. unassisted
