Back Office is one of the cutting edge technology tools that makes up Buyers Edge Platforms Software suite. We dismantle siloed restaurant technology systems and deliver a comprehensive, hospitality-specific software backed by industry experts who guide operators to make faster, more informed business decisions. Independent, multi-location, franchise, and enterprise restaurant groups gain efficiencies and drive profitability through our financial accounting, purpose-built payroll, food cost management, and daily AP automation, all under one roof.

Because Back Office was built by restaurant owners, for restaurant owners, it was specifically designed to address the revenue, cost of goods, labor, and compliance concerns that operators face within the industry. Through Back Office, owners gain clear and actionable insights into their performance, empowering them to make data-based operational decisions while leveraging the unique combination of continued education and user-friendly software, right at their fingertips.

This position is ideally hybrid based in our Littleton, CO or Waltham, MA offices but it can also be remotely based, with anticipated travel of at least 15% dependent on location. This role offers a base salary of $80,000-$85,000 per year with high commissions potential. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

As an Account Executive specializing in our restaurant software solutions, you will be instrumental in driving new sales and developing strong client relationships within the restaurant industry. Your primary focus will be on showcasing the value of our software and services to restaurant owners and decision-makers, leading them through a sales cycle ultimately winning their business.

Your impact:

  1. Sales and Business Development: Employ a consultative sales approach to understand the unique needs of potential clients and present our software solutions as essential tools for enhancing operational efficiency and profitability. Periodically develop leads through outbound sales activities. Carry a quota that is met/exceeded on a monthly basis.
  2. Client Relationship Management : Develop strong relationships with restaurant owners, managers, and stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights on how our software can address their specific pain points and contribute to their success.
  3. Product Demonstrations and Presentations : Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our restaurant software solutions. Customize presentations to highlight how our technology can streamline accounting and payroll processes and improve overall business operations.
  4. Industry Knowledge and Networking : Stay updated on the latest trends and challenges within the restaurant industry. Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your knowledge and establish meaningful connections within the market.
  5. Reporting and Collaboration : Maintain excellent sales metric hygiene through daily sales activity updates in Salesforce. Collaborate with the product development and customer support teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our software offerings.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of sales closing experience within B2B software sales, preferably within the restaurant industry or related fields. Solid understanding of restaurant operations, payroll, and accounting a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles. Experience with RFP process a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
