Checker AutoCAD/Inventor - Alliance, OH - JOB 24-00279

Salary: Commensurate - Permanent Position with Benefits

A well established and growing original equipment manufacturer located in the Alliance, Ohio area is seeking a Checker.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 15+ years' experience in Mechanical Design, Weldment Design or Crane Design
• Must have good design and detailing skills.
• Must be proficient in reading all types of drawings.
• Must have extensive experience in fits, tolerances, and Autodesk software (AutoCAD & Inventor required)
• Knowledge of CMAA or AIST is a plus.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

Duties:

• Review drawings and designs to verify they meet current AIST, CMAA & AISI Standards.
• Review calculations to determine that the calculations match the detailed part.
• Verify that designed and detailed parts match the fit, finish and dimensions.
• Verify assembly drawings and bill of materials are complete and accurate.
• Ensure that the detailed design is functional and can be fabricated without difficulty.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
