State Street Alpha is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Governance Engineer with experience in developing cloud governance strategies and processes to join our Cloud Governance and Platform Management team. In this role, you'll help drive the short and long term strategic and operational strategy that builds Alpha's global cloud governance roadmap. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships across engineering and architecture teams, owning business units, engagements, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical cross-functional partners.

Required Qualifications:

5 to 10 Years Related work experience in roles of increasing responsibility/influence governing and managing enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure technologies

Large-scale technical governance experience

Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

Experience in financial products and processes (preferably SaaS)

Practical understanding of core cloud technologies (Containers, Kubernetes, Storage, Compute, Networking, IaaS, PaaS, automation) and their associated governance, lifecycle management, and delivery

Demonstrable ability to make hard decisions in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrable ability to influence diverse groups of stakeholders
