Technology Staffing Solutions | TSS is seeking an entry-level to mid-level  Conveyor Belt Technician to service one of our clients in the supply chain industry. This position is responsible for the installation and repair of conveyor belts and conveyor systems, including basic mechanical maintenance. One hundred percent of the work will performed at different customer locations, so the scene never gets old or stagnant.
Ideally we are looking for candidates that have previous experience in belt tracking, vulcanizing and/or splicing heavy rubber conveyor belting. We encourage candidates to apply even if you are not fully experienced. Our experienced techs will bring you up to speed.

We work in a safe, professional, and efficient manner at TSS and provide all of the PPE equipment required to complete the work. Here's what can you expect as a Conveyor Belt Technician at TSS. You are responsible for the repair and installation of conveyor belts including basic mechanical maintenance.

Duties include:
 
  • Responding to our clients request to install/repair conveyor belts in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure conveyor belts are working effectively per customer's request and specifications.
  • Install conveyor belts using rigging gear, winches, etc. as required to fit and assemble system components.
  • Certify that jobs are completed within time frames.
  • Loads, delivers, install and spec-out equipment.
  • Completes all required paperwork, time sheets, service orders, jot-forms, inventory and expense reports, etc in a timely fashion.
  • Properly identify basic conveyor system components and troubleshoot to perform basic splices, belt cleaning, belt tracking and pulley lagging.
  • Performs other related & non-related technical duties.

Required Qualifications:
 
  • Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving history
  • Entry-level to Mid-level belting/conveyor experience required
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
