Working in our End-User Computing (EUC) Corporate Account Executive team , you will have instant impact on a great team with great solutions! You will be responsible for driving all sales motions (prospect-to-close) which includes: generating leads, responding to lead generation efforts, developing customer relationships, qualifying opportunities, conducting web-based demonstrations, assisting customers as they evaluate and/or trial our solutions, and ultimately closing the opportunity. 

As an EUC Corporate Account Executive your primary focus is aimed at closing business while driving sustained revenue and transactional sales growth within your territory. Collaborating with the entire partner ecosystem to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close transactions is critical. Without you and the work of our partners, the money doesn’t flow in!

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?  

Within 30 days of employment, you will shadow current specialists and give high level explanations of our Products. You will also begin prospecting and calling into new opportunities, while learning the full solution set.

  • Within 60 days you will be able to tell the EUC story in demos with customers, as well partner engagements. 

  • Within 90 days you will become a full EUC consultant aligning your customers’ challenges and future roadmap with appropriate VMware solutions. 

  • Within 180 days you will have mastered complex negotiations, strategized with partners, and should have developed a high level of forecast accuracy. 

  • Within 360 days you will have demonstrated the ability to execute on consultative sales strategies and you will have managed full sales lifecycles - from lead generation to close. 
      

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?   

  • Selling from the End User Computing (Workspace One and Horizon) portfolio of products and services within a defined territory of Corporate Customers. 

  • Acting as a Corporate Account Executive within the EUC sales team, you will be contributing to the specific End User Computing sales strategy and executing those sales efforts. 

  • Increasing customer spending through ‘Whitespace’ and ‘Wallet share’ selling motions in assigned geographies with thousands of accounts.   

  • Prospecting and responding to incoming leads to build and maintain a pipeline that will exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas. 

  • Execute a consultative sales strategy and manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close. 

  • Demonstrating key elements of software solution to prospective customers through online web demonstrations and answers feature and functional questions. 

  • Assisting our Partners and/or Customers in the successful hands on evaluation of our products via Trials and/or POC’s

  • Working closely with Professional Services team to demonstrate and scale our solution to meet individual client needs. 

  • Preparing and presenting contracts, negotiating, closing contracts, and monitoring relationship through implementations.  

What is the structure and culture of the team like?

This role is to become part of the EUC Corporate Sales Team which is comprised of 48 Account Executives and 5 Sales Managers who are responsible for selling into our Corporate Segment of accounts. The team is made up of hard working and competitive sales professionals that appreciate our culture which allows you the ability to succeed as individuals while excelling in a team environment. We have very low turnover, and the majority of the sales team has significant experience positioning our EUC Products. You will find the teams to be extremely welcoming, collaborative and always willing to lend a hand to help newly onboarded team members.

Where is this role located?
Located in Atlanta, GA, this role will initially start as a hybrid role where you will be in the office approximately 2 days per week to help ensure you have easy access to all the resources necessary for your development. Once you have established tenure and a track record of success then you can transition fully into a remote position.
