Our firm is working with a few healthcare investment firms (hedge funds and venture capital) who are focused on company building and identifying transformational and disruptive innovations across the biopharmaceutical and medical technologies sectors. They are looking to add to their Corporate Finance Team. These roles are very different than your usual Corp Dev roles. There will be a tremendous amount of growth and exposure.
The role involves Financing Analysis and Modeling, M&A Analysis, underwriting, Business Development, Capital Markets (including SPACS, investment vehicles, etc), Alternative Transactions, and Operations. :
Qualifications & Experience
- Three to five plus years of total experience across a mix of investment banking, consulting, and operating in biopharma/pharma/medtech industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or finance discipline from a top-tier institution would be ideal, but candidates with substantial exposure to the life sciences industry will also considered.
- Background in a combination of pharma, biotech, medtech - ability to understand high quality assets on merits of the science, management team, market opportunity, etc.
- Experience working on complex projects such as IPOs, M&A transactions or any long-term, multi-faceted project where you were a critical team member.
