Full Job Description

As a Business Analyst you will help deliver projects that enhance functionality and reporting provided by existing corporate reporting platforms. In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of financial reporting and support a key product across the Finance and Business Management toolset. You will partner with key stakeholders to analyze and seek feedback on operational processes, identify business and operational requirements and provide solutions where needed. The role will be accountable to the Process and Control lead and part of a global team providing governance across DPS (Digital Product Services) Finance and Business Management.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, consolidate, review and analyze a number of key financial activities including, but not limited to: budget and mid-year forecast, financial updates for the Board, Operating Committee and Regulators and analyzing business performance drivers
  • Collaborate to help monthly Forecast, MYF & Annual Plan process guidelines.
  • Responsible for the support and delivery of daily plan reporting & month end reporting across the global team
  • Execute the above processes with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness of meeting deliverables on prescribed timetables / calendars
  • Analyze line of business  business models and strategic initiatives to enable better understanding of individual Line of Business investments
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with the Line of Business and corporate functions areas (e.g. External Reporting, Investor Relations, CFA)
  • Support ad hoc projects as necessary

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • 6+ years professional experience in handling large amount of data, analyzing P&L and balance sheet drivers preferred
  • Previous experience in a finance / planning role in banking or financial services strongly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint in particular)
  • Experience in the consolidation, review, analysis and presentation of Financials
  • Experience with internal financial systems such as Essbase and Hyperion preferred
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables
  • Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with frequently changing priorities and to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Self-starter who is driven to excel in all aspects of their role and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary
