Full Job Description

A Warehouse Lead is expected to professionally represent our company as the face of our company, providing excellent customer service, thorough follow up and promoting sales. This position is integral to the internal and external customers of our company and works in tandem with the Warehouse Associate.

Main job duties include:

*Oversee the warehouse helper and take the lead on all warehouse duties

*Load/unload material for deliveries and transfers with great care to maintain the integrity of the

Materials, this will include containers that are shipped from overseas.

*Photograph, label, and upload newly arriving material documentation and paperwork

*Properly identify and label new inventory

*Accurately document inbound and outbound material

*Inspect inbound material ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality

(including discrepancy with system photos, identification errors, size, and material issues, etc.)

and report any issues to location manager

*Conduct quarterly inventory reviews

*Photograph, label, and upload collection documentation

*Travel offsite to other company locations and fabrication shops to deliver or collect material in company truck, occasionally overnight

*Update CRM and POS system with slab collection information/documentation

*Maintain a clean and safe warehouse area for employees and customers

*Moving and organizing stock to properly display materials for viewing by customers

*Ensure slabs are cleaned weekly and general cleanliness of showroom is maintained

*Notify location manager of any equipment and warehouse issues needing maintenance

*Complete daily open/close checklists and maintain daily forklift operations log

*Other duties as assigned by location manager

Qualifications:

*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, outgoing personality and dependability.

*Must be detail oriented and able to multitask in a flexible daily environment.

*Working knowledge of office equipment such as Microsoft products, internet, scanner/fax/copy

machine, as well as multi-line telephone equipment.

*Forklift certified, Clean driving record, experience working in a warehouse environment, OTR driving experience.

*Supervisory experience handling heavy materials safely.
