Job Description:

Business Initiative/Purpose: (Goal, Business Impact, Accomplishments from the work)

The purpose of this initiative is to make the deposit account opening experience for teammates and clients faster and easier by leveraging the Digital Commerce account opening process currently available on our website. This will result in higher deposit sales production volume, which aligns to Consumer & Small Business Banking s (CSBB) deposit and Digital focus areas.

Role Responsibilities: (what they will be doing)

Independently perform sophisticated data analytics in a variety of environments using structured and unstructured data.

Produce compelling data visualizations to communicate insights and influence outcomes among a wide array of stakeholders.

Take accountability and ownership of end-to-end data science solution design, technical delivery, and measurable business outcome.

Engage in stakeholder meetings to identify business objectives and scope solution requirements.

Use, maintain, share and collaborate through internal code repositories to foster continual learning and cross-pollination of skillsets.

Partner with cross-functional teams (including Data and Analytics) to coordinate rules on data usage, data governance and analytics capabilities.

Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.)

Strong working knowledge of creating and editing Adobe Analytics dashboards, Camunda, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Strong working knowledge of data extraction in a variety of environments (SQL, JQuery, etc.)

Strong working knowledge of Hadoop, Pig, Hive, and/or NoSQL, Spark.

Experience in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences :( Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience. However candidates with any of these will be looked at first.)

Master s degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering.

4 years of relevant work experience if candidate lacks graduate degree.

Previous experience in working for a large bank or in the fin-tech industry.

Familiarity with Consumer and Small Business deposits, credit card, lending, and investment products.
