Data Entry Specialist - Temp-to-Hire Opportunity - Hybrid Schedule

Our client in the Teaneck, NJ area has an immediate need for a Data Entry Specialist on a temp-to-hire basis. This position will be responsible for entering and organizing data received from customers and sales distributors.

HYBRID SCHEDULE: Tuesdays and Thursdays in-office / remainder of the week fully remote

The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, experience working in an ERP system, and proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain company’s ERP data set by entering new sales/customer account information and updating records when applicable
  • Collect and process source documents; verify accuracy and follow up appropriately where source data is deficient
  • Organize files and create appropriate audit trails inside ERP system
  • Maintain data entry requirements and procedures
  • Monitor data trends and identify data outliers
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting needs as required for business analysis and key initiatives
  • Support customer service requests where appropriate
  • Report data issues or concerns to manager promptly

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Organized, diligent and effective time management skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc.)
  • Net Suite experience is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize
