The Diagnostic Test Technician is responsible for the operation, troubleshooting and repairs to product/ PCBA (assemblies) and applicable test equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for test / troubleshooting / repair of failed product (at testing stage)
- Setup/operation of various in-circuit and functional testers – read schematics, diagnose production issues, repair and retest repaired fails.
- Use the provided documentation to set-up various tests. Understand and use the in-circuit testers, use various functional tests and assist with production when a test goes down.
- Changeover and repair test fixtures as assigned.
- Complete test or diagnostic database entry at the end of the shift.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the customers, manufacturing processes and quality systems companywide. This includes following procedures, work instructions and completing all related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in electrical/electronic engineering and/or related field and three (3) or more years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of analog / digital circuits.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Utilization and understanding of various electronic measurement equipment and techniques.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Employee(s) are required to have an eye exam for this position. 20/20 vision (with glasses or contacts if needed) is required and must be able to see colors.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
