Full Job Description

MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor's in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (English, Creative Writing, etc)
• Digital content marketing experience (writing articles, not images or video)
• 5-8 stories per month (press releases, articles, website copy)
• Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Intermediate knowledge; understanding how different titles and specific content breakdown in their articles is related to SEO and driving traffic
• Familiarity with social media
• IE) Marketing their stories via social media to drive traffic
• Excellent writing skills, grammar and spelling in English language required

PLUSSES:

• Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing

DAY TO DAY: Our client is looking for a Digital Content Specialist to join their team! The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve organizational goals. Duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong copywriting skills and digital content marketing experience, serving both Shriners Children's and Shriners International. This role is pivotal in crafting compelling narratives and engaging digital content to achieve organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational abilities and extensive experience in planning and executing content strategies across various digital platforms.
