Description:

This client is currently seeking two consultants to support the writing and updating of their Manufacturing Work Instructions, Standard operating procedures, and cell layout effeciency. They currently have approximately 300 machines or work stations that need this completed, most of which is due to long term operators who didnt have this now retiring. This will be supporting Plant 12, but this project has the opportunity to expand into supporting several other plants. The equipment they will be supporting on CNC Mills, Lathes, Grinders, Lasers, Assembly Equipment, Etc.

The SOP/Work instructions they will develop typically supports the operation of the equipment, tooling changing processes, change over processes, and guaging/quality processes. The consultant would have a pre scheduled conversation with the operator or operators within a specific work station. They will record this conversation and from there have conversations with internal personnel to validate the quality of their work. This is meant to enhance their previous processes.

Must Haves

1. Bachelors in Engineering- Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical all work.

2. Problem Solving- Example from internship or school in alignment to manufacturing processes

3. AutoCAD/Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint experience- will be charting, designing, graphing their work.

4. Strong communication skills- Will be working with several internal key stakeholders or operators.
