Job Details: Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University is seeking applications for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track eligible faculty position. Primary academic responsibilities will be in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, traditional track.
With primary teaching in the traditional BSN track, faculty may have additional responsibilities in other degree programs. In addition, faculty have responsibilities associated with research, scholarship, and service. This position requires on-campus presence and is not a virtual appointment. Rank and salary are commensurate with professional qualifications and experience. Candidates for consideration at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track position) must have an earned doctoral degree, an established area of research and scholarship, as well as demonstrated record of excellence in teaching.
Qualifications :
:
Master’s in nursing from an accredited university/college
Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Philosophy commensurate with Mercer University's mission and values
Preferred Qualifications :
Doctoral degree in nursing or related field (required for tenure-track position)
A minimum of two years full-time academic experience
Evidence of scholarly productivity in area of expertise
Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards
Background Check :
Selection of final candidate is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check
Pay Rate :
Commensurate with experience
