Title: Finance Business Analyst

Location: South Gate, CA (100% onsite)

Duration: 6 months

Candidate: US Citizen or Green Card ONLY (No Visa candidates)

Job Description:

Finance Business Analyst

100% of work onsite with most of the work performed at South Gate, CA with infrequent travel to offices within the Los Angeles area.

The goal of the analyst is to take ownership as project lead to facilitate business process review through company departments to include but not limited to finance and accounting and company operations. The goal is to help identify opportunities to automate manual processes within NetSuite. As part of the review process, the analyst will document business processes and procedures, to include cataloging tasks and individual job duties, along with brief description.

The analyst will extract the define business outcomes and objectives, document data flow through both external-inter departments. Create data flow maps by department and identify opportunities for convergence of manual and automated processing.

Primary Responsibilities

Host small workshops within company conference rooms, alongside finance and accounting personnel to include business leaders such as Directors, VP and CFO. The analyst will walk through each respective persons' processes of each cataloged service, facilitate, storytelling of work and summarize into technical documents that will be used to administer system development.

Documentation will be detailed within Microsoft Visio, with swim lanes, separation of systems, and manual processing, to highlight where manual work is performed to include the system of origin and where data may be is repurposed into other systems.

Development Support

Present business requirements to internal management, and to IT with NetSuite development teams.

Develop testing scripts.

Host and manage business through UAT process.

Experience

BA in accounting or finance area

Minimum of 5 years of Business Analysis within a financial role/department

Minimum of 5 years working with NetSuite, System administrator level experience preferred.

Finance and accounting background of at least 5 years

Green Belt/ SIX SIGMA preferred.

Exceptional writing, and clear communicator

Demonstrated expertise with Visio, MS Office suite
