Fire Sprinkler Service: Union Apprentices/Technicians

This position requires the ability to troubleshoot, service, repair, modify and replace Fire Protection Systems for new and existing customers on a scheduled basis.

Job Responsibilities

  Servicing Fire Protection Systems to the prescribed standards

  n

• n

  Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of our customers Fire Protection Systems

  n

• n

  Identifying code and non-conformance issues

  n
n
• n

  Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports

  n
n
• n

  Duties may also include installation of new Fire Protection Systems

  n
n
• n

  Other duties as assigned

  n
n

Job Qualifications

n
• n

  Valid Driver’s License and a driving record that meets company requirements

  n
n
• n

  High School Diploma/ GED required

  n
n
• n

  Member of UA Local UNION 669 Road Sprinkler Fitters

  n
n
• n

  Fire Sprinkler Service Experience required

  n
n
• n

  NICET II Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems a plus

  n
n
• n

  Texas RME-I License a plus

  n
n
• n

  OSHA 30 preferred

  n
n
• n

  Willing to be on-call after hours

  n
n
• n

  Willing to pass a pre-employment drug test, background and reference check

  n
n

Physical Requirements

  Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation

  Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking
