Reporting to the Head of People and Development, Orsted Americas, the Head of TotalRewardsisresponsiblefordefininganddrivingthestrategicdirectionand thebuildof theTotalRewardsfunctionfor the Orsted Americas Region. Thisroleensuresoperationalcompliance,marketcompetitivenessandsustainabilityofcompensation, benefit andleaveof absenceprogramswithinthe Americas Regionin strongpartnershipandcollaborationwith the GlobalCompensationandBenefitsteam for allrelatedorganizationalrewardsprojectsandinitiatives.
You’ll play an important role in:
- designing andanalyzingcompensation policies and pay practices to develop competitive compensation plans, including utilizing competitive benchmark data and surveys
- designing, evaluating,and modifying benefit policies to ensure that programs are competitive and in compliance with legal requirements
- maintainingcompany-wide compliancewithgovernment regulations,including FLSAandEqual Pay Act, DOL,wageandhour, ERISA, COBRA, HIPPA, FMLA, IRS as they relate to benefitsandcompensation, etc.
- providing specialty reportinganddata analysis as requiredandidentifying trendsandpotential areas of non-compliance with legal requirementsas well asopportunities for performance improvement within the function
- managing partnerships with brokers to ensure premium benefit offerings
- designing and maintaining paylevelingin partnership with Global Total Rewards.
To succeed in the role, you:
- 15+yearsof experience in Human Resources/TotalRewardswithinhigh-growth,midto largesizecompanies.
- Bachelor’sdegreein Human Resources, Finance orrelatedfield;Master’sdegreepreferred.
- CertifiedEmployeeBenefit Specialist (CEBS),CerfifiedCompensationProfessional (CCP), GlobalRemunerationProfessional (GRP) and Senior Human Resources Management Professional (SHRM-SCP)certification(s)preferred.
- Demonstrated success in partnering with finance leaders, legal team, and other key stakeholders to develop a dynamic total rewards program.
- Must have experience withcomplexcompensationplans,includingexecutivecompensation,withina globalorganization. PreferredcandidatepossesesUS totalrewardsexperiencewithina non-USheadquarteredorganization.
- Demonstratedexperience ineffectivemanagement ofofemployeebenefit plansincludingcommunicationandeducationof plans toorganization.
- Experience in ERISA, IRS,DOL auditandreportingand disclosure compliance.,age and hour/FLSA compliance¤tworkingknowledgeof HRIS systemsincludingUKG and SAP.
- Conversantin end-to-end datacollection,mining, and
translation to businessobjectives
- Trackrecordofsuccessfulteamleadershipanddemonstratedinfluenceracrossmultiple teams.
